Chris Evans was a twat, no doubt, but pinning the bad ratings on him isn’t entirely far, and will only serve to set dangerous expectations for the next season.

I think it’s hilarious that your TV’s need to be licensed. Stalin would be proud.

I just kind of assumed that people got killed on those ride-share bikes all the time. I personally know of four people who’ve crashed on them.

I hope Alyssa Walker is run over by an autonomous truck carrying ride-share bicycles.

Please. It’s all nod-and-wink disclaimer bullshit. The proof is in all the videos of Tesla owners using their Autopilot dangerously, and Tesla’s silence on the matter.

The point is that Tesla has ENCOURAGED this overconfidence through it’s marketing and through their user community filled with product evangelists who constantly upload videos to YouTube of their cars driving themselves all over. Almost none of those videos show people operating the self drive features with their

The Esprit was meant to go after Ferrari and Porsche in a way they hadn’t been able to up to that point. Giving it a stylized interior was part of that.

The original Esprit was optionally upholstered in something called marcasite, also known as ‘mouse fur’, which was an alcantara precursor; an almost ultrasuede consistency, but not quite. Some Ferraris used it as well I believe.

This makes me sad because you just know it would have been a great car and you’d probably be able to buy one for about fifteen grand right now.

On paper, that makes sense. But in reality, people are much more accepting of human error than they are computer error. Simply telling people that statistically, the computers cause fewer fatalities than human drivers isn’t going to cut it. Especially when it comes time to sue for damages. Where’s the legal recourse?

Yep, I remember reading that and thinking he was absolutely right.

It is important to note that Tesla disables Autopilot by default and requires explicit acknowledgement that the system is new technology and still in a public beta phase before it can be enabled.

Deport kebab.

I sat in the back of a new Maybach a few weeks ago (not the Pullman), and it was WONDERFUL. Like, if I were a billionaire, that’s definitely the way I’d want to get around.

There’s a pretty massive difference between the government keeping a road paved and your car literally requiring government permission to move from point A to B every time you turn it on.

It’s a REALLY nice car though. They seriously hit a home run with this thing, and I hate modern cars in general.

Actually, I’d say that all things considered, those particular humans exercised pretty good judgment.

And along with the expense going away, so does our freedom of movement.

No way, the C4 interior is amazing. Yeah they used shitty plastics and it wasn’t screwed together very well, but the overall design is great.

Now that’s what I call reliable transportation.
