He’s one of the few active performers who, good as their recordings might be, deliver even better live performances. Totally expected this guy to take over the world one day.

The more of these prequels they do, the closer and closer they get to basically being the old Rankin/Bass “Santa Claus is Comin’ To Town” Christmas special; they basically clog the toilet explaining every little detail and in doing so make the audience feel like they just watched someone clog a toilet.
Love the expression on Mom’s face throughout this encounter.
“Hole in the roof and a cracked windshield” make it sound like the car would be road-ready after they scraped the bits of dead terrorist out of it. I don’t think Safelite is gonna be able to fix THAT while I’m at soccer practice with the kids.
Terrorizing isn’t as lucrative as it used to be.
Illusion of precision results in indiscriminate use. It’s just as deadly if you target the wrong individual.
While there may be too much emphasis on launch angle and exit velocity, I don’t understand why people would NOT want to know this information. It’s not like they held up the game and didn’t show the replay for 45 minutes while nerds used an abacus and protractor to calculate these data points. The ball gets hit, they…
I chalked Thanos’ near-defeat on Titan to the fact he was still processing the death of Gamora, mixed with a healthy dose of still trying to get the feel for wielding Infinity stones, along with his ego not allowing him to consider the possibility that THAT group could even pose a threat.
Watching it, I could hear my Little League coach screaming “2! 2! 2!”
Mandarin/Ten Rings being the antagonist in Shang Chi was the conclusion I came to. It can’t be The Hand, that’s Netflixverse. Hydra is just done with and dead.
“...someone had forged the results of two drug tests performed by A&J Lab Collections, which is owned by [Brandy] Murrah.”
This was a strong and pleasantly noisy dinger
Technically, I never claimed I wasn’t a dumbass; we’re all in this together.
Despite my declaration to which you refer, I acknowledge that there are plenty of people who don’t have kids of their own who are experts (or, even just unusually intuitive) on the subject of children; but that number, whatever it may be, pales in comparison to the number who think they are.
If you’re AT&T or Paramount or whoever, doesn’t it make more sense to avoid the cost of setting up the infrastructure, development, maintenance, administration, customer service, and whatever other bullshit that would go into setting up a streaming service, and just license your content with Amazon/Netflix/Disney?…
Eh. I used to happily pay 15.00 a month to play one game, so I could see a certain percentage of people leaning into one service or another for whatever show it is they’re super into. That said, it’s unlikely to be a significant percentage of people.
I think you’ll be proven right in the long run, but for the moment - if CBS All Access is any indication - all signals are ‘go’ for these disparate media streaming outlets. It’ll be interesting to see who’s still standing 10 years from now, because it just doesn’t seem sustainable unless the market drives the subscript…
Yeah that destroyed video just gave their lawyers the right to tell the jury to assume the worst case scenarios for those 3 hours.
As much as it sucks when you boil it down to the base elements, if that’s the law where you serve alcohol, you are obligated to be your brother’s keeper in this situation. On balance, tying responsibility back to the establishment/personnel that overserved the ‘victim’ has probably (?) saved more lives than it has…
Unless the dude weighed like 40 pounds, there’s no way they didn’t recognize what they had done. Sucks that “just doing your job” makes you liable for the consequences of someone else’s actions, but, it’s not like these laws haven’t been around for decades, and since they operate in a state with such a law, whoever…
