McPhee did the absolute best he could have given what was available, but it helps that A) he wasn’t competing with anyone else for those players and B) the league has transformed a LOT since the last expansion, with an emphasis on schemes and tactics, where the 3rd and 4th lines and 3rd D pairings actually matter game…
