“Why are all the actors wearing green socks while filming?”
Meanwhile, as recently as 2012 Spider-Man (alone, just Spider-Man) accounted for more licensed merchandise purchases than all other comic characters combined, and there’s only been more stuff that’s come out since then.
So far I am dead at work, at home, on my phone, and on my tablet. I think they are trying to tell me something.
“Cinematic Multiverse” would also be a good way to explain the sudden appearance of characters they didn’t have the rights to during the first 20-odd movies. I really wish all this contractual mumbo-jumbo was settled, and Sony/Fox/Etc just let Marvel do their thing; have to imagine that a set percentage of a billion…
Yeah, I would say 299 of 300 is not half.
It was said aloud by Thor, something to the effect that Thanos had already killed half the Asgardians. It’s definitely a thing that half the Asgardians survived the encounter.
Well that, and what was to prevent Strange from opening a portal back to Earth while they were hurtling towards Titan, or from using the Time Stone to go back to any point prior? Why did he waste time talking to Tony as he was erased when he could have astral projected and pissed his plan in the dust for Tony to read?
See what I get for not watching SNL? Still, it struck me funny.
Agreed, and whatever the winning scenario was meant Thanos had to first succeed. I’m guessing Strange knew the others wouldn’t go for that, so the (known only to Strange to be pointless) battle HAD to happen, just to sell it to Thanos that he was making hard-won progress.
I took it to mean Strange saw the only way Thanos would let his guard down is if he accomplished his mission AND Tony Stark was still alive to do something after the purge.
This comment is magical.
Can this be .gif’d and filed under White Power?
I paid money to see Avatar in the theater, and again for the Blu-Ray. It’s a very good-looking film that is, unfortunately, not diminished in the least by having the sound muted.
It was physically painful to me when Corvus and Proxima were beating Vison and SW and then they had to run away from freakin’ Cap, Falcon, and BW :p
Stoked as I am for Captain Marvel, I would’ve shat pants if that pixellated screen had just a circle with a 4 in it.
Your eyes may have seen that, but it wasn’t really an ant playing the drums. It was cymbalic.
After you’ve picked your CPU/motherboard, the next component should be PSU, regardless of whether you’re planning to overclock. The PSU is literally what drives your system, and if you pick the right part now, it will slot into upgrades years and years down the road. You will never regret a little extra spent on the…
I can’t judge Game 7 2016 because as a fan I’m too invested to make a rational call. It seemed to me the greatest game I had ever seen, but there were some good games in other WS from my lifetime, i.e the Jack Morris game, the Kirk Gibson game, and so on.
I inadvertently let loose an audible “oh shit” when I realized who was guarding the Soul Stone, but my embarrassing faux pas was later overshadowed by the stream of expletives unleashed by the couple sitting next to me when the consequences of Thanos’ plan began to unfold. The woman was especially PISSED.
