That’s exactly what I was thinking. I grew up watching it, and I have a kid now, but I wasn’t sold. Now? Yes please!

Huey, Duey, and Louie in the morning!

I’ve only been watching the Flash this year (begrudgingly, mind you), but seeing NPH on the musical crossover would be amazing.

I was initially excited for this until a friend reminded me of how underutilized he is in the movies/official canon now. There just isn’t that good of a reason except for name recognition.

As soon as Edwards had to step down from Godzilla 2, I lost a bit of interest. Mostly because he seemed to be excited about bringing in the other classic kaiju. I’ll still go opening night, but I was personally a huge fan of his take, and I was looking forward to seeing him continue things.

Not what I was expecting, but great all the same!

I love Star Wars, and this is even too much for me. Even if I was making six, going into seven, figures a year, I could never convince myself buying something like this would be worthwhile.

The trailers for Rogue One were too much, I agree. I watched the red carpet event on Saturday, and I was annoyed, because they constantly played trailers in the break. Thankfully, the word on the street is *maybe* 50% of the material in the trailers made it to the final cut.

If that’s true, it’s a surprise to me.

This is why I am not envious of Gareth Edwards, Rian Johnson, and Collin Trevorrow. Having to make new SW movies? Talk about some of the pickiest fans ever. Myself included.

Username checks out.

When stuff like this happens, I generally wonder, “Who asked for this?” For example, I saw there is a TV show based around King Julien of the Madagascar movies. Fair enough. But four seasons? A second season of Fuller House?

Last sentence sealed the deal. I’ll find a way!

I understand why one would equate (or at least relate) success with finances. I just thought my comment about BvS making more money than GOTG would have indicated my view of success here wasn’t financial. In my perspective, GOTG may have not made a lot of money, but I can guarantee the MCU (and all comic book movies,

I wasn’t super impressed with the pilot for People of Earth. It was funny, but not enough to want me to watch any other episodes. Am I missing out?

The point is they hired him. Right now, WB/DC only has largely known movies coming down the pipeline (Shazam and Cyborg being two of the more “unknown” compared to the rest). And to be fair, it’s not like Iron Man was the most popular comic book character when they did the movies, either.

I never did watch those. Superman has never been one of my favorites. If you had to pitch them to me in two sentences, what would you say?

Comment: officially co-signed.

Also, I don’t comment on here very often, but being in the grey sucks. haha.

My point had less to do with the movies being “equivalents,” so to speak, but Marvel’s ability to take a relatively unknown product and do well with it, compared to WB/DC’s inability to take two of the most iconic comic book characters of all time and...well, deliver. Of course, that last part is largely subjective,
