Yeah, it’s a little thing, but one that it’s surprising Windows has no native equivalent to yet. Want to preview a few photos to find the right one? You have to open the full Windows photo app each time rather than just hitting space to get a full size Preview preview (heh).

One thing that limited my use of Preview for large PDFs (say, totally legal textbooks...) is the slow search functionality, it seems to get bogged down going through hundreds of pages. This even on El Capitan, on my 15" rMBP with a 4770HQ/16GB RAM and the file on its really fast SSD.
