Besides your bottom point, if you took his inheritance, stuck it in an index fund, and left it for as long as he’s been working, you’d end up with near as much money as him. Won’t some of the limit to how good third party ones can be be APIs? If Siri itself is still pretty limited even now, I don’t imagine Apple is giving much third party leeway on virtual assistants. Android, maybe.
How well does torrenting straight to SD/USB flash work on Chromebooks? I ask because Transmissoin on my Mac always chokes up while doing it, I assume because the very low random read/write perfomance of such flash devices. Not sure if it’s Transmission/Mac specific though.
