As far as I know, most top Starcraft players APMs are very high for us peons but not that high among hardcore players. So after a point, more APM becomes more and more secondary to overall strategy, I would assume. Ie someone who could perform 2000 APM may still lose to a top player with a ho hum 300.

So, how did that HD graphics improving Nintendos sales prediction go?

Right before, yeah. 45 minutes before, not so much.

Still using a Tegra 3 though... Stuffs getting more demanding, that's a letdown when the 4 and soon K1 are out.

Err, its launch was also a year before the XBOs, are you serious? And this thread of comments is really old.

I do something similar when my back hurts by sliding down a carpeted stairway on my back, heh. It cracks particularly in the lower back region, and tends to help for a few hours at least.

A lot of this also goes for the predominantly inattentive subtype, male or female, that don't draw much attention to themselves and are usually pretty quiet/non destructive.

They`re just trying to save an endangered species, the pubic louse.

Yeah, and too bad, I'd be curious to know. I know they've been verbal about not wanting to go down the route of inflating game budgets, I'm curious how that went for them after going with a HD console.

I'd be curious to learn what modern Nintendo titles like 3D world cost, as they said themselves this is the route they don't want to go down of inflating game budgets. I wonder if they made the HD transition with less cost than others.

My comment was also from 2011 :P

Suddenly? You mean has always been since he existed.

(speaking as someone who only followed the first generation of pokemon, but still)

lol probably not, but at low framerates any increase is welcome.

Yeah, that's the theoretical edge to consoles, but it doesn't always pan out. Even on modern systems, say the Wii U jumping between 18-22FPS on AC4 which is pretty bad. I forget the specific games on N64 that chopped up, but they were during times you'd want to react the quickest, so a small boost to ensure a visibly

A few N64 games had low framerates in some scenes, same with some games on modern consoles. Overclocking it smoothed that out a little to completely.

I overclocked my N64. It was so easy at the time. Nothing really since then, I havn't actually owned that many consoles. But I did take apart my 360 for various fixes to extend its post-rrod life for a few months, if that counts as a hack. I had PC fans directly attached to each heatsink, a large metal sheet

There's always more optimization to be done, but the consoles had certainly reached the point of diminishing returns, there is only so much toothpaste you can squeeze out of a tube. This was one of the longest console generations, I was ready for a new one for quite some time.

If anything aspects of the eighth gen

Hmm I see, interesting.

I'm not! The Gamecube was powerful-ish for its time, all three consoles had their strengths and weaknesses then. But the Wii, several years later, only improved on it a mild amount, and was left in the dust in terms of power, no one can deny that.

Different games take different amounts of power, the later games
