But I already do that :P

It's probably a matter of efficiency, modern GPUs and I think even CPUs now output many times the performance per watt of the PS3. Even as the PS3 slims down and shaves off watts it can't match the rate of progress there.
Interesting, seems you are right. I thought LEDs used less power than CLFs which made them more cost effective long run, but I guess that cost effectiveness just comes from their rated life instead.
I very much doubt these are "no extra cost" over a CFL. An LED without all these features is much more expensive alone.
So the additional whizbangery negates the power advantage LED has over CLF? Meh.
I would delete your reply fail as well :P
You're off by about 1000x there, or half that for dual layer blu ray.
A5X would only be useful if it has a resolution nearly as high as the larger one, if it uses 1024x768 like I expect it to it will probably be either A5 or A6.
How do you know? It benchmarks nearly the same in offscreen high resolution tests, with a bump in clock speeds it could easily match the A5X performance.
I wonder if it will get the A6 in a higher clocked form as well? This is the first time the iphone had a faster processor than the ipad which feels off, that would rectify it.
Oh great, posting about when you are doing your homework and going to bed and changing your kids diapers weren't enough.
But looking at the 15", the space they save from that was all used to make it more flat and spread the battery out, there's no more room for the motherboard. And in the case of the 13" the thermal headroom would be about equivalent to the current one I would think, a tad better but the same TDP.
Looking at the way they spread out the batteries I really don't think it will have space for dedicated graphics, but I'd hope so too. Using the HD4000 alone on the 15" is a choppy experience, forcing the 650M makes it smooth, so I hope the 13" has something to fall back on.
I wonder if it's still using the dual core IVB from the normal 13". There is a quad core at the same TDP, for the Retina series they really should move to that and make that uniform. Also I wonder if they did anything about the graphics, the 15" is still janky at times even with ML and that has the 650M to fall back…
The 15" retina Pro has one. Maybe that will be one continuous thing in the Retina series.
Agreed. I still heavily use and really like my Classic, yet I see almost no one else using them. I don't quite need the full 120GB, but dumping things by the album would only work on the most capacious/expensive iProduct for me and I'd rather not get gouged that bad. Until say 64GB flash memory is the baseline, I plan…
Well I hope Tegra 36 in the Samsung Galaxy Contact Lens 8G doesn't run as hot.
The last gen touch is still being sold new for 50 dollars more, same capacity. I can't conceive of why this would be better, even if you will just use it for itunes desktop file transfer and music playback the Touch has far better battery life, plus you can do wireless syncing and all that on it. If you don't already…
Good luck getting Skyrim on a Tegra 3...Assassins creed, the Android version sure, the actual game no way.
Funny enough it's probably more capable than the Wii, but that isn't saying much. But each game would have far less storage to work with than the Wii, so there's also that.
