They also said it gets 10x more light to the sensor than the best competitors smartphones, I think.

They aren't even done yet and I've creamed myself multiple times. The floating camera sensor seems like it would be incredibly useful, as does adjusting the screen hue on the fly in relation to the light you are in, and all the Nokia specific apps, this all looks great. Plus Snapdragon S4, the fastest SoC out right…
Bet he'll be pretty embarrassed when we're all dead.
The new iPads CPU part wasn't pumped up at all, it was the same as the 2, just the GPU was different.
All those leaks with the two tone back looked pretty real, so I'm anticipating no surprises on the appearance. I hope the internals come as a surprise then, another year with the dual Cortex A9 cores would be meh, and seeing as it won't have significantly more pixels to push then the 4s like the new iPad does the die…
Really? Have you tried in-ear ones with rubber or memory foam tips?
I hope so. I never got why they didn't fix that chink in their armour for over a decade for not much more cost to them. Even if they bundled in the Apple headphones that cost $100 right now by default that would be great, something new and better would be better.
That's a benefit to the developer, not the user. Like I specified.
What ROM and what phone? I use CM9 and it still sucks.
I hope it gets native-ified soon like the iOS app just did. HTML5 is fine and dandy for websites, but makes no sense on a dedicated app.
There's a good reason Facebook on iOS just went native. Native performs better.
Native apps will almost always perform better, from a users perspective there is no benefit to HTML5 vs native. From the developers perspective though HTML5 is easier and cheaper.
Damn. I don't like official explanations, the reason DD is so talked about is because there are so many different ways to talk about it.
I don't know that it's overrated, it's a cult classic, a few love it and most don't care for it. I liked it though, it's not for it being "good", it's for how much discussion can be had from it. It's like 2001 A Space Odyssey in that regard.
Sounds like a great explanation to me.
The PC version seems to be the definitive thoughtless console port. Apart from resolution and vsync, there is little you can adjust, and at non-console resolutions it does some wonky tearing even with vsync on.
I'm still waiting for Kepler to reach $200. Honestly, in the world of console ports, a 200 dollar card will suit most monitor resolutions perfectly fine.
Yup. I get the appeal of bite sized reviews, but not when almost everything moves to them including some big launches.
You can, but going forward some applications will be made to be Metro-only, which will increase how much you have to swap. I suppose you could avoid them, but what about when something REALLY good comes out for Metro only?
