I want to know too, I see the version prior to this out on AA, not the RTM yet.

This is the Release To Manufacture copy, it's exactly what consumers will get their hands on in October, barring some minor bugs that might be squashed.

They should be able to tell the resolution from the panel, right? If it's the resolution of the old iPad (which would make sense for compatibility) and more expensive than the N7, meh, but if it's a bit more expensive with a retina display that would be very tempting.

This was a good review, I'd really love more of these rather than the bite size chunks this site has moved to.

Will the RTM version get updates and everything just like the October release? I can get it now through MSDN, but I won't if it can't be updated in-place.

It's an education tool, and updateable unlike a book. Give a man a fish yada yada.

"People evolved to eat starches like potatoes, rice, and corn."

Gives credibility to stuff like keto and atkinson diets. We've evolved to efficiently process animal fats and proteins, eating fat won't make you fat in absence of excess contrary to what some people think. No, not that I'm against it.

No info for my IP. Not sure if that's due to private trackers, encrypted upload, peerblock, or dynamic IP, but that's good I guess.

I've heard things like turning the ceiling fan to the upwards air sucking mode will keep hot air away from floor level.

Runtime. Few people will make the connection, IMHO they should have called it Windows ARM Edition or something.

The Surface? It's made of magnesium alloy, they made a big deal about their VaporMG stuff.

All your content in a UI that looks like this

Surface UI would have worked fine. What comes after it, "More Modern UI Style"?

I think DX11 support is a near sure indicator it's targeted at Windows 8, the standard on every other platform is OpenGL ES.

I meant for the part about the tracks staying around. The wind would probably erase them fast.
