Yes, the 2.8 Duramax still uses the 6L50. I think they kept it because GM didn’t want to re-certify the Duramax and maybe not be compliant anymore, but it’s a better transmission so it was the right move anyways.

They have had issues with the 8-speeds since they came out. It seems like every other month GM is releasing a new bulletin to fix a shudder, slippage, or stall they develop. They could have used a couple more years of R&D to make sure they were better.

Some days I wasn’t sure which vehicle was going to tow the other home.

The Ranger has the most nostalgia behind it concerning “small” pickups. These things won’t have any problems selling.

Here is my 2015 V6 towing what used to be my 2006 Mustang. It didn’t tow it like an HD truck would have, but it didn’t struggle that much getting up to speed, and it had no problems managing that speed once it reached it.

Is the Ranger a Colorado-beater with two fewer cylinders?

Also WI resident.

I don’t know what it’s like in Utah, but here in the Midwest you don’t get the option of being picky when looking at cars with a $5k budget. The cars that fall in that category around here have 150k+ miles, obvious body damage, holes-in-the-body rust (not that surface rust you southern folks maybe see), and a

The Lincoln Blackwood was probably the very first attempt at the luxury truck market as we know it today.

Lincoln made a new Blackwood a while back and called it the Mark LT

It’s an incredibly contrived situation with only one purpose: run out the clock so that not every senator has time to read it, and certainly nobody has time to study it in-depth.

Once my wife can go back to work it’ll get better, and my auto loan will be done next year so that will help too.

My wife and I aren’t normally living paycheck to paycheck, but we did just have a baby so we are going to be a little tight the next month.

...the DNC keeps saying “civility! Bipartisanship! Teamwork!” while being repeatedly stabbed in the back.

If this was truly as thorough as Republicans are claiming and it actually exonerated Kavanaugh, then they’d be handing out copies in front of the Capitol. And yet they aren’t doing that, and we all know why.

Because it’s procedure?

And what did Kavanaugh lie about exactly? What proof do you have? Whatever irrefutable proof you found should probably be turned in to the FBI.

You realize the US military is about 85% republican, right? You also realize those hicks and rednecks are extremely likely to have more than one gun per person, right?

The Wrangler is the only one that fits that category, and with a new $35k price tag for a BASE MODEL you reeeeaaaaally need to want one to buy one.

Even going with the name brands like ACDelco, Motorcraft and Bosch I ended up with parts that were either broken when I got them or quality control rejects. If it works out then more power to you, but I can’t trust them anymore.
