Maybe, but everything in the US is designed around LHD vehicles. ATMs, Fast Food Drive-thrus, you name it, and good luck reversing into the tollbooth on an interstate.

I see no problem with using plastics for wheels. UV resistant plastic exists, and if possible it would be another great way to recycle some of the trash we produce. They do make money off the battery packs themselves though, so being able to supply them at a cost effective price means you can gain more customers that you didn’t have because they were too scared of replacement costs.

They’re expensive because they are an emotional purchase, not a rational one. You buy a Wrangler because you want a Wrangler, end of story. There is no vehicle out there that the wrangler can beat except in off-roadability, and the 4runner is right on their tail while also being far more useful in everyday life.

Any lights that aren’t factory still need to be covered when not in use, unless they’re some kind of marker light. In that case they just can’t be lit unless in use for construction/towing/emergency stuff.

By halogen housings, I presume you mean the people who have reflector housings that are not designed to handle anything brighter than the cheapest Duralast brand bulb and not those who have retrofitted their headlights to properly accept LED or HID bulbs and adjusted them accordingly?
