Man these trucks are long. I was looking at the numbers and even in the rubicon trim the breakover is worse than a 4wd F150 4 door 5.5 foot bed (XLT)...somehow. (20.3 vs 21 for the Ford) and the other trims (sport and overland) have identical breakovers to the same Ford...in 2wd form. You’re going to NEED 35+ size

It’s fucking frustrating the GDQ didn’t investigate or take action the first time. 100 percent Bullshit.

Good on Andrea and the rest of the GDQ community to push them into what is pretty fucking crystal clear response they should have given at first.

The SJ Wagoneer was wide and ineffably imposing, but at 186 inches, plenty of luxury cars of its heyday were notably longer, as were everybody’s longbed single-cab (as most were) pickups.

They’re on the list of vehicles almost no one buys. Jeep can barely move 2 door Wranglers anymore.

They need to make it more defender style where the cabin and the bed can be one connected space and then put some sideways folding benches in the bed. That’s the most fun configuration to cruise with friends with top down in the summer and it lets them get rid of the dumb looking long cabin and use that space for

The 4 door just looks awkwardly proportioned. It’s more cab than anything else. Where are the extended cabs and longbed regular cabs?

As obvious as that sounds, it’s a great point

In 2019, you can buy, new:

Bah. I’ve seen ugly.

Nifty!  When you take off the doors and roof, you can put them in the bed and take them with you...

Self-promotion time. In preparation for today’s unveiling I assembled a history of Jeep trucks, since no one (myself included) seems to remember that Jeep not only once built trucks, but did so for 45 years continuously.

FWIW, your resale value will be much higher whenever you sell, especially if you live in the Pacific NW, New England, or Colorado.

mirrors man. I drive a cargo vans for work every day i always find it hilarious when people think they will crash into everything because of a less than ideal c or D piller.

if they do a awd speed 3 (or even a fwd) with a manual and that hatch It will be for sure at the top of my list. I love subaru WRX but i just don’t want another sedan I would drive a crossover before I drive another sedan.

Womp womp.

At the very least it’ll eat into Impreza sales

AWD?! My...my mind... it has exploded. If somewhere down the road they offer a more powerful engine for this car... wow... that will be my first ever brand new car purchased. Having said that though... with the current engine options, would one really want to get this with AWD? Does anyone think AWD is out of

If it comes in AWD, manual, AND the 2.5, I may have to trade in my two existing Mazdas.
