I dunno - but your goddamn annotation is hiding the A and part of the J and L. Obviously not intentional, but still an annoying byproduct of these Kinja annotations.
"lazy prototype"
Who doesn't expect that to be buckets of fun?
I like to play a game where I go on manufacturer's european sites and build myself forbidden fruit. Then I revel in self-schadenfreude. Breras and 159 wagons have made frequent appearances in this game.
Should Alfa build a modern equivalent? Absfuckingolutely. As far resto-moding existing GTAs, please no. God - I love those things.
I was thinking about boxer swaps the other day. I think it would be pretty cool to swap a worked Subie 4 into an air-cooled Porsche. I kinda like that it would piss off the P-car guys, and it would definitely be cheaper to run. Might even improve the handling, if it's lighter, but someone with more knowledge would…
Totally agree, except for the 2002 touring. First off - they are awesome as is with an M10. B, they're pretty damn rare in the US. If you do swap in something - it should at least be one of Bimmer's I4s. S14 or M42 would be generally well loved swaps for 2002s. An N20 would be awesome, once they start showing up in…
So, my 23 year old 318is makes the same hp from a NA 1.8 I4, gets ~28 mpg mixed driving, ~32 mpg highway, and weighs ~400 lbs less. I feel like there should be a bigger gap between my 23 year old entry-level bimmer and a modern entry-level bimmer.
I read the headline as "Most Awful Drift Video of All time." Strangely, I find myself a bit disappointed.
Is this some kinda trick? I get to hoon around fast hatches for free? This is awesome.
Proportion perfection. I wish there were more shots of the Miura with its headlights up - I know they only tilt slightly, but I've never gotten a good feel for how they look with the lights up
It will floor you.
Is that M1 original? Down to the grey motorsport roundel in the steering wheel?
Don't you just turn the entire solid disc? With your hands on the glossy outer ring? What are the red buttons? I'm guessing turn signals for the outer two. What about that third one?
Does this mean Audi is going to build my dream super-car-that-I-can't-afford-anyway, R8 successor derived from the R18?
Yep - much better without hacking up the hood.

Yep. I would feel for him more, if it weren't for that ghastly interior. Ughhh...
Actually, I think this article inadvertently gave an explanation. It means you can change more when you do a facelift. The hood and fenders usually stay the same on a facelift, so anything connected to those pieces will stay the same. See that little crease that was added between the kidneys and the headlights? They…
