There are certainly Japanese people who take a dim view of their police and the rest of their law enforcement system. Sure, there are fewer murders, officially. But a whole lot of crimes don’t even make it onto the books (especially sexual assault and rape) unless the cops are certain they can get a conviction. And

I’m surprised they didn’t sponsor Call Of Duty, since they, y’know, sponsored the original war half those games are based on.

One of the first things we learned in graphic design class and they used penisland.com as an example. Heck I’m old and I read it as “shell station sus”.

Tim Sweeney allowing propaganda geared towards children!? I would have never expected this from the man who misunderstood 1984 and shoved that in people’s faces while pretending he was some kind of champion of consumer rights. Surely the open “metaverse” will limit this kind of behavior from other companies.

“Hey kids! You’re absolutely fucked because we just refuse to pivot our business away from fossil fuels. But at least you can floss in Fortnite!” - the soulless cock-gobblers at Shell

Shell manager who came up with that line was probably like:

Already hated this based on this headline and this just makes it even worse

I love how they are trying to be cool with the kids and then have the tag “shellstationsus”
Shell Stations US was probably their intention... but the kids will read it differently.

Maybe I am just having a bad day, but this just strikes me as sick AF. Fuck Shell, IGN and those streamers and I am glad that people are pushing back.

The blood on characters in this game is so over the top and I haven’t played a game that had it that way since Dragon Age: Origins

I’m always throwing water at my team or casting spells.

The Cole one was modeled on an actual actor they hired specifically for the role and the new one looks nothing like him. It’s “more realistic” by not resembling Aaron Staton’s actual face

There a bit more detail, but it no longer looks like the actor. It genericized the character.

No, it’s because it looks like shit.

How are your NFTs doing?

2 Galaxies in the same universe would have the same rules of physics.

At least they need someone to do a pass on the scripts.  The amount of just straight-out cliches in dialogue is doing me in.  Enemy of my enemy, prepare for the/hope for the, etc.  It’s like writer 101 to jazz those statements up a little with some originality.

Filoni was fine with animated show dialogue (which was terrible in Clones Wars, but better in Rebels), but he really struggles with live action. I think his INTENT is good, but he should have brought in much better directors to sharpen up dialogue and the scenes in general, plus editing to make everything flow better.

A whole bunch of late snes and genesis games were well over 60.  Final Fantasy III cost me 85 bucks.  Chronotrigger was that much as well.  Some N64 games were well over 60.  And we havent even adjusted for inflation yet.

Yeah unless you were born like... Within the last 5 years where they started doing the $70 games, game prices have stayed the same or gone down on average.

Games at large almost certainly should’ve ripped off that $60 band-aid sooner than they did. That price holding for over 3 decades was nuts, and brought alllll the other alternative monetization methods, some of which turned out to be infinite money glitches and obviated a sticker price at all. But now that all those
