So relieved to hear this game was a success for them - it’s just such a vivid and evocative game that’s clearly the result of an incredibly passionate and creative team, more people should give it a chance. Absolutely one of my favorites from last year, which is really saying something considering the competition.

I’ve owned that version for years and remember it working just as you’d expect it to for an older game, no issues that I recall. I expected those versions would’ve been removed in place of this version, but no, they’re each currently listed for $10. So as far as I can tell, if you’re just here for the single player,

You can also find Revival materia earlier, there’s one on a rooftop in North Corel.

“Producer explains why a crucial piece of content is DLC”
I don’t like being the cynical one, but every Atlus RPG and new Sega release is swimming in DLC, so obviously the answer is $$$. Every Persona game in particular is nickel and dimed with music, cosmetics, etc, and most of them also have a subsequent definitive

Squall: “ So, just found out that weird president guy is my dad...and uh, I guess he dated your mom? And they definitely...junctioned...”

Me: “I just want a slightly nicer looking and better translated version of the original.”

As I started playing Reload last night, years since playing FES or Portable, I had the thought that (at least a couple hours in) Junpei almost feels like a stereotypical JRPG protagonist brought into a more grim and grounded world where his over-eagerness to prove himself only seems to annoy others, put them in

Pokemon Company: *pushes the big red lawyer button*

I can't wait to experience the legally-distinct adventures of Firm Serpent in his decades-long battle against Large Leader, Pistol Lynx, and Moist Serpent!

The Intellivision released in 1979 - 44 years ago. So even assuming this hypothetical ideal journalist played it as a young child during its “heyday”, they would be at or over 50 years old. How many in that age bracket are even around or left in the volatile tech journalism field? Between that and the fact that 2/3 of

Even if you just focus on their massive recent successes (DS and Wii), when transitioning to their follow-ups the 3ds and Wii U had perfect compatibility with their predecessors, which made upgrading more tempting to the existing base. The main reasons I’d imagine the Switch didn’t have that same compatibility is a)

It’s too bad we’re well beyond the point in console power where a PS2 Slim-type update just doesn’t seem possible anymore, considering the PS3 and PS4 had much more modest shrinkage in each case. Still, I feel like Sony’s incredible engineering back then really set an unattainable high in console revisions they’ll

Hmm, hopefully that doesn’t result in the Slim being noticeably louder than the OG...

When I looked up some prior consoles’ dimensions for comparison right after Sony’s announcement, it seemed like the closest ballpark was the OG PS3, but stretched a bit (if looking while it’s horizontal - less tall and a little less deep, but wider). So still pretty big, but considering the few times I’ve seen the

Or, and hear me out guys - it was an excellent premise with ideas and characters that felt fully explored within a sharp single season, and stretching that premise into multiple seasons and situations quickly wears out the novelty? Maybe not every show needs multiple seasons?

Interesting to dig more into Unity’s really tumultuous stock price over the past couple of years for some possible added context. As mentioned, it went from roughly $60 at IPO to $30 currently, but I had no idea it peaked around $200 in late 2021 before dropping to $100 a few months later, finally spending most of the

Firmly anti-cop here, but I’m curious how this thought exercise is affected by the game being created by Japanese devs? I don’t know enough to say for sure, but my impression has always been that Japanese police are viewed more favorably than those in many western countries. The lack of wanton murder and systemic

I’m more surprised that GTA V isn’t on Switch yet, since it originally ran on PS3 / 360 and Rockstar loves trotting that game’s corpse out whenever it needs a bump in profits in between releases.

To be clear, I don’t own a PS5 yet and would love a good deal to get one before FF7 Rebirth, but this ain’t it. Over half the games on the list could be / have been played on my PS4, and two of the remaining games are remakes of PS3 games I played years ago, leaving Ratchet, Sackboy, and Returnal as the only genuinely

This seemed like a solid deal until I saw the list. It’s all older games that you shouldn’t still be paying full price for, plus like 1/3 of the list is remasters or rereleases. Still makes me wonder if they’re just clearing existing stock before a refreshed model releases before the holidays.
