Given Atlus’ normal MO for Persona releases, I can only assume that roughly a year after the remake releases they’ll drop another version with the FES contents, with the PSP stuff following some time after. Experience has trained me to never buy the first version of one of their games.

If I had to guess, the Persona 3 remake is likely a ‘stepping stone’ project to get the team comfortable making an eventual Persona 6 using Unreal

I love tactical RPGs and P5 is one of my all-time favorite games, and yet my reaction to this  “hmm, neat...so when’s Persona 6 coming out?”

i wonder if this includes fes and p3p content. i feel like 95% of the reason people wanted a remake at all was so that both could be included in one package, but trailer doesnt show femc as far as i can tell

Hell yeah! Not having to download half of part 1 was a nice surprise, so it’s great that they’re continuing that.

There’s reports that Square-Enix is panicking as FFXVI’s preorder numbers are down compared to FFXV’s. The thinking is that SE didn’t start marketing FFXVI early enough. Hence they decided to start the marketing push for FF7: Rebirth now when the original plan was to wait until after FFXVI’s release date.

The lines from Sephiroth in the footage seem to be aimed at Cloud, talking about an unnamed “she” that can mess with your mind or take the form of those you know or love.

The implication at the end of the trailer is that Sephiroth killed Tifa in Nibelheim in the original’s flashback sequence, so the Tifa that is with Cloud is someone else.

The trailer also starts with the main gang being loaded into ambulances so who knows what that’s all about.

I still like buying physical even if the disc is basically a coaster at this point, but I don’t need to go to GameStop for them when my Target two blocks from me has them. And a lot of other stuff I could buy/use.

After warming to and coming to love the character through Clone Wars and Rebels, I watch Rosario Dawson and I just don’t see or hear Ahsoka Tano.

Say what you will about the Pokémon itself, that Mr. Mime art of invisible chess in the park is brilliant. 

There are a ton of games I would rather have had Nintendo do than these. Specifically, how about Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages?
