I honestly have no idea how they'll ever top this game for a new entry.

Those crazy bastards. Open world post-apocalyptic Kirby was definitely not on anyone's bingo card.
I bought my GameCube in 2004 with my first real paycheck, picking that up with Melee, Pikmin, and Metroid Prime, which remains one of the best purchases ever. I probably put a couple thousand hours into Melee and Metroid Prime was a transcendental experience that still holds up incredibly well.
Thousands of QA testers screamed out at once...
Snake: “Otacon...there’s something I want to ask you...meet me under the tree...”
I’m cautiously optimistic. Hopefully they revamp the battle system to be less of a slog, because I've never felt a game make wielding a blaster or lightsaber feel so boring and lifeless.
As someone who owns and adores the PSone, PS2 Slim, and PS3 Slim, I’m desperately hoping for Sony to go back to the well of “it’s just as good but half the size and with a refined design aesthetic!” The PS5 really reminds me of the worst of the swoopy excess of the original PS3 as it is. I don’t even mind if it loses…
I convinced myself a while ago that I don’t need a next gen console anytime soon (at least until FFXVI and God of War, but I’m not dropping $600+ on two games alone), and...this was cool, but it looks like I’m still good until late 2022 at the very earliest. I'm not sure there's anything Sony could do to get me to buy…

Thanks for filling the FREE space on my emulation article bingo card.
I’ve been replaying FF XIII for the first time since release, and while I really didn’t like it the first time, I think it’s pretty damn great this time around. First off, the game is just stunning in terms of productions values, full of bespoke animations and voice lines for even the most trivial interactions, it…
If these psychopaths are all pushing this drug as a preventative measure, I say they lead the way and all take it together. With an extra dose, just to be safe. That'll show that dastardly MSM!
I completely agree, the SNES feels boxy and clunky next to the SFC and I've always thought the purple was an odd choice. I’ve never liked the NES design either, wish we got the Famicom instead.
She's a retro classic but still ready for hours of play.
A few things, as a fan of the franchise since the very beginning:
Look, I'm as pro-game preservation / emulation as a force for good where the industry constantly fails as anyone. But the difference here is that he charged access to stolen property, and if I remember right from the last set of articles, made a couple hundred thousand dollars doing so. This is not the grey area that…
Not to be that obnoxious guy, but I was feeling envious for a long time about not being able to get a preorder. A couple months ago I finally gave up, bought an OG GBA in decent shape for $15, ordered an IPS screen, new case and buttons, and USB-C rechargeable battery from Handheld Legend, and now have one of my…
“Be sure to salute each statue of Our Glorious Leader for 10% off your next ride!"
So true. Also, I’ve been seeing a lot of “well, worst case - install Windows on it instead!”, which just reveals how few people have thought through the unique usability hell of using Windows on a 7" 720p screen (as well as the lack of universal UI scaling across games and programs).
I remember countless headlines breathlessly saying the Steam Machines were console killers, and since the announcement I've seen countless articles saying it's a Switch killer. Funny how the industry chooses to forget a major console flop while simultaneously misunderstanding why the Switch has been the bestselling…
