I’ve considered it many times. I’d kill for a modern Zune with bluetooth for the gym.

I love the Persona games and JRPGs in general, so I’ve tried multiple times to get into Persona Q and SMT IV but always bounce off within a few hours for the same reasons you described. That constant oppressive atmospheric tension makes the whole experience feel tonally flat, and the stress over having one wrong turn…
Yeah, but...I can also do that while using my phone as my sole media device, and just keeping a $20 battery pack and usb cable in my bag. I listen to podcasts and music for 10+ hours a day, and still only ever need to plug it in in special cases (business trips, etc).
If there was a way to own a new iPod without dealing with the shitshow that is iTunes, it’d be a day one purchase for me. Of course, that also assumes they don’t gouge the shit out of us on memory costs.
Having skipped the last three films, at some point these movies need to start with a quick graphic / wiki explainer of the timeline, right? Preferably narrated a la Hitchhiker’s Guide’s intro, with a catchy musical number for the end of the world.
This is zero loading times for a last gen game, so once devs start filling giant open worlds with 4k textures and super high res models, someone is going to decide that having a loading screen is worth the quality tradeoff. And while Spider-Man was excellent I don’t remember the loading times being an issue. Other…
That’s my thought as well - Microsoft’s gaming division can compete with Sony at the same time the cloud division signs a lucrative contract to provide infrastructure. Not really a downside, especially with Microsoft already losing this generation.
“We offered them a 2.5 hour film length, but they insisted they could tell the story in 45 minutes.”
Absolutely agree. It’s almost like when D&D met with GRRM to find out what happens in the end, they only wrote down a 2-3 sentence synopsis for each main event or character and then used these bulletpoints as a framework for the plot without knowing how to connect them all together in a meaningful way.
Also coming out this week - that completely underwhelming Castlevania collection, which instead of being something that highlights what makes this series really special (Symphony of the Night! A rerelease of the underrated GBA/DS games!) is just a retro cashgrab of the oldest games in the series. Cool that they’re…
And you know the Mountain isn't asking for raises or sick leave. Frankly I'm amazed she doesn't have a full council of zombies at this point.
I thought it was a very accurate portrayal of what would happen if a 12 year old boy actually found out he was a powerful demigod - he’d be an insufferable shit about it and make his father regret ever telling him.
I’m not impressed until you can also race as a biplane, then it’ll be the Diddy Kong Racing successor the world needs.
He only counts as a 1/2 Goku.
Glad you think so. And that’s very true - it would’ve been much more dramatic for Rhaegal to die during the attack on King’s Landing, pushing Dany to be more ruthless and possibly torch the Iron Throne.
As many people have felt, this season has overall been so fucking stupid that I’m literally having to overlay my own headcanon in order to keep myself invested in the carnival of idiots and CGI that D&D have created.
Honestly, I’d have an easier time believing Euron pulled that magical dragon-controlling horn mcguffin from the books out of his ass and took control of Rhaegal than having the ultimate weapon in this war end up being ‘dumb fucking crossbows’.
“...and before we leave, we have one more surprise for you.”
The theater goes dark, and a video begins playing. We see Reggie in DK pajamas (and matching tie) sitting on his couch drinking coffee and browsing the Switch eShop. He’s flipping through games, pauses, and backs up the list to find...an icon with Lucas and…
I don’t have any nostalgia for the NES so I’ve barely touched this app so far, but I’d kill for some great (and hopefully unexpected) SNES games to start being added. There have recently been some articles about Nintendo trying to draw in more subscribers to Switch Online, and adding SNES games would be the biggest…
They must not have a similar clause for damaging their brand when it comes to the games, because... *gestures to the last 20 years of Sonic games*
