I love VLC, but I just have to say that two days ago I needed to play back some uncompressed 4K MXF files from a Canon C300, and VLC stuttered and stumbled, playing the videos at what looked like maybe 6fps, instead of the 24fps it was recorded at. I make a fantastic challah bread for french toast, and the recipe uses *two* egg yokes. I usually just dump the whites in the garbage. I’m certainly not going to dilute my morning scramble with crappy egg whites...
If you have a dog or cat, nuke the white for a minute, let it cool, and give it to them.
Depending on the number of egg whites, you can do anything from a quick mug cake to an angel food cake to all kinds of cookies and meringues or even divinity. Make some royal icing and put it on some graham crackers. You can even add an extra egg white or two to your meatballs/meatloaf.
This article needs another “Extra [egg] whites make this food better” article to balance things.
If you’re ending up with them often, freeze them in an ice tray. If you’ve got one like, every 3 months? Disposal.

This wasn’t even food science, it was specifically meat science. So, it was all about all the ways bacteria could kill you. Plus all the way not enough or too many nitrates or nitrites will kill you. Plus all the ways you can process it wrong and it will kill you.
