How is this news? This is basically the case for movies, games, etc. Critically acclaimed has never correlated all the much to visibility or popularity and it is not likely to change any time soon. I’m sure if you did this with non-critically acclaimed show on the cable and streaming shows you will get even worse…

I haven’t kept up much after Echoes - I thought Wasting Light was harsh and hookless, and I didn’t bother with the clear search for inspiration that was Sonic Highways - but I admit I like Grohl enough that I probably give his music more leeway than I probably should , so I’ll check this out anyway.
