The drawing for the Szechuan sauce image gives me the feeling they knew about the R&M stuff.

The NRA last made a tweet at 2pm (eastern?) Friday. We’ll see how long their media silence goes for. The NRA is always silent after a mass shooting takes place.
The saddest part about American society is that it has been heavily divided in the past five years or so. I am willing to bet a huge number of people on the right were hoping that the gunman was either black or Muslim.
One of these days people will realize that “thoughts and prayers” do shit and that real action is needed. It’s like those who offer “thoughts and prayers” are too afraid to actually speak up and do something about it, re-election potential be damned.
Good move on DC’s part. The Marvel cinematic universe has become too bloated on its part and DC has had a mostly difficult history with its recent films.
I find it interesting how even to this day 50 Cent still has to be referred to by his real name when on a movie poster (just like Ludacris. They need you to know that Curtis Jackson or Chris Bridges is indeed 50 Cent or Ludacris) while Dwayne Johnson has shed that Rock surname.
I was not aware of it. Thanks for letting me know.
Ignatiy’s review of that last direct to DVD (streaming?) movie with Seagal is still one of the best reviews I’ve seen of any movie ever.
I know, I have chatted with her here and there on that site. But I was wondering if she is aware of this...I’m too afraid to tell her.
I appreciate your effort, AV Club, but I think it’s time to retire Reasonable Discussions. I am pretty positive that a large number of people who kept this feature alive and quit after the switch won’t be back. And the ones that do participate aren’t going to produce discussions that are reasonable, if you see where I…
I’m willing to bet that site has a sizeable number of Gravity Falls references; people seem to spot little symbols all the time. Of course, Justin Roiland is huge friends with Alex Hirsch.
“But no, they’d rather enable these creeps to continue harassing women and POC.”
If I had to choose which of these singing shows I would rather watch I would pick American Idol over the Voice for one reason - no matter how big or popular the judges are, American Idol seems to place more of a focus on the singer and less on the judge. I can’t even name a single person who sang on the Voice and I…
I saw Charles Bradley at Lollapalooza a few years back; his voice was strong and you can definitely tell he was having the time of his life. He even spent the last five minutes of the show walking along the audience.
Fonzification or Urkelification - which do you feel was stronger and more evident in their show? I’d say Urkelification if only because of the extreme tonal shift.
Well, the last season of Family Matters on CBS could be remembered as a warning about the dangers of nostalgia. That last season pretty much became a batshit insane program where the dad and Urkel both travel through time and space and stuff. And I think the actual family in question was just abandoned altogether.
The sad thing about online culture is that it is extremely easy for people to be negative to others simply because they can do it anonymously.
Taylor Swift may be too powerful to sue. She is a nightmare dres-(tackled by Swift’s layers and threatened with trademark infringement lawsuit)
I Get Wet is still a legitimately strong album; the sheer optimism of that album is totally genuine. It is great to see this guy is still partying.
I bet Dishwalla would love to watch History’s Counting Cars. Assuming they count the right ones that is.
