Don’t use them to replace a good ~weekly vacuuming. They’re not good at that. What they ARE good at is getting dust, pet hair, etc. off the floor which greatly helps reduce dust in your house. I find I dust the rooms my Roomba goes through much less now than I used to.

Hi, I grew up in Alabama, went to college in Alabama, and currently live in Nashville. I like visiting cities like Chicago, but I love living here.

Because I’m not “surrounded” by hillbilly mouthbreathers, first of all. A, there are still a lot of good people here. B, hate to break it to you, but rednecks exist in every state in the U.S. Visit the rural parts of your state sometime. I like the weather here, I like the vistas here (I happen to find lots of places

But this discussion is purely academic and hyperbolic. No one is seceding from the U.S., we’re not going to split up into multiple nations, it’s not going to happen. So, barring an interesting talk, what are our practical solutions going forward?

If that’s not what he wants then more power to him. But we spend all this time talking about how many other guys he should be starting over, why wouldn’t he rather have a starting gig?

I’m not victim blaming, I’m saying you can’t say we’re not trying to make things better when probably a fourth to a half of Southern progressives end up leaving the states entirely. The not-so-secret, as you noted in another post, is that cities like Birmingham, Nashville, Atlanta, etc. have become much more

Well, if some progressives would actually stay in states like Alabama and Tennessee instead of flocking to California or NYC or Chicago or the Pacific Northwest we may stand a chance and/or have started making some progress. But too many of them leave and then join hands with liberals in the rest of the country and

Idunno, Skyrim is a game I keep coming back to because of how heavily I can mod it.

I loved that game, but BSU was #9 going into that game at 12-0. You simply cannot break into the Top 4 and probably not the Top 8 if you’re not in a Power 5 conference. Undefeated UCF is currently ranked #12.

I always appreciate the people who think “rednecks” only exist in Alabama or Mississippi. Hate to break it to you, they’re in your state, too. It’s the inconvenient truth of America.

It’s a complicated situation because that win against OU last year is a big reason you got in.

Technically speaking, the only thing that is “Alabama BBQ” is the white BBQ sauce.

Except it doesn’t when you get your shit pushed in by unranked Iowa.

See, I would get offended and whine about that insult, but I’m not Urban Meyer.

Cardiologists in Columbus are going to make bank today, seeing how much salt is currently in town.

They also play in a non Power 5 conference. It’s never going to happen.

Or, don’t lose by 31 to unranked Iowa.

Wasn’t last year. But the salt is tasty.

“B1G Champion that lost by double digits at home and got their doors blown off by unranked Iowa”

The dude played in a Super Bowl, of course he wants to be a starter. And we already have a starter in Mariota. I don’t love Matt Cassel but he’s at worst a serviceable backup (emphasis on backup). Why would we bring in a guy like Kaep, a guy who should be a starter, to backup our starter? I don’t think Kaep is a
