Why are you acting like a conservative defending Roy Moore over allegations? Did you break your brain? I don’t understand.

You’re everything that’s wrong with the left, of which I am a part of. Stop making excuses for Franken, the reverse is what makes conservatives so gross. You are a hypocrite. Sit down and shut up.
No, I do not believe men and women serving in our military would open fire on their friends and family (they probably would on some “unruly” strangers if the “threat” was sold well enough). But we’re on the cusp of having automated military technology. That’s when everything started to drastically change.
Venezuela doesn’t have a fraction of the military technology that we do.
The tiki torch manufacturer shouldn’t have had to say anything. It was a ridiculous “scandal” that no one should’ve arrived at. It would’ve been like getting mad at Joann’s because they bought white fabric at a store; it’s not like their credit card says “nazi” on it. We need to cool it with this shit. It’s not…
I think the lesson everyone needs to learn about that situation is that HR does not work for you, they do not work to protect employees, they work to protect the company and the company’s image.

Fuck you. Shit on Moore, not the rest of us. This shit is why our movement is splintering.
I still live down here as well, albeit currently in Nashville. It’s not shit. There are good people down here. I’m not giving up on that. You want to leave? Fine. But I’m not okay with fellow liberals joking about razing places in the South.
And the hyperbolic rhetoric rolls on. This in-fighting amongst us on the liberal/progressive side is not good. Stop talking down to entire portions of the U.S. You may not be talking about those of us on your side that live in Alabama and Tennessee and Georgia but when you joke about “sparing” the entire state, it…
It’s not okay. That was my point.
Good.
Because that’s the equivalence I was making? What a ridiculous thing to say. I’m going to give you a mulligan for such a dumb comment.
No. I’m not a coward, nor am I as much of a cynic as you. We’ll keep fighting the good fight without. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
I wouldn’t and I hate hyperbole and generalizations like that. There are, in fact, good people and interesting/fun things to do in Alabama. And I really despise my fellow liberals that treat states like that where some of us live because it really drives a wedge between us. Let’s make things better.
I think the insinuation was that carpet bombing “those towns” to get rid of those people will also be figuratively killing a lot of good people. I’m from Alabama, we have racists down here (they’re all over the country, let’s be frank). There are good people in these small rural towns. Either generalizations are okay…
That’s totally an unfair thing to say. Anyone can read a line on a page, but selling it to me from an acting standpoint takes talent.
Jesus Christ *facepalm*
It happens all the time in sports. Thrill in victory, agony in defeat. Some of the most powerful sports photographs of all time are of players or teams that have lost or gotten injured or things like that. It reminds us how invested and passionate these people are.
We have drones now, and that kind of technology is only getting more efficient and widespread.
