I wouldn’t and I hate hyperbole and generalizations like that. There are, in fact, good people and interesting/fun things to do in Alabama. And I really despise my fellow liberals that treat states like that where some of us live because it really drives a wedge between us. Let’s make things better.

I think the insinuation was that carpet bombing “those towns” to get rid of those people will also be figuratively killing a lot of good people. I’m from Alabama, we have racists down here (they’re all over the country, let’s be frank). There are good people in these small rural towns. Either generalizations are okay…

It happens all the time in sports. Thrill in victory, agony in defeat. Some of the most powerful sports photographs of all time are of players or teams that have lost or gotten injured or things like that. It reminds us how invested and passionate these people are.

I still don’t understand why the 8 and 8 Plus aren’t the 7s and 7s Plus. Design wise it makes perfect sense, it makes the lack of a 9 with X/10 less awkward, and it gets rid of that weird “what is this phone versus the X?” since it’s really just a minor upgrade on the 7 and 7 Plus.

Or, you know, sports are fun. And he can do all of the above, like I did.
