[Redacted cause I saw the actual video. Whatever.]

I enjoyed John's summer so much that when Jon came back, I felt a little off. I still do. John > Jon. We'll miss you, buddy!!

Fucking hell, what an attractive family. Those boys are so cute! And Posh's makeup is STUNNING. And Beck's tie is really really nice.

Nah, it's fine. I fully understand now that this isn't the place to be raising editorial concerns when I should be expressing support for the author of the article.

I was only pointing out an editorial choice that I find confusing, i.e. why the Jezebel editors repost these First Person articles without adding a little editorial note that unites them all under a banner of... something. I didn't think that my comment was insensitive or unsympathetic, but I'm sorry that's how it

I'm glad you feel that way. I, for one, would like an introduction to these articles that seem so blatantly out of place on what is essentially a news website.

Jezebel, these first person stories are cool, but how about giving us some context as to what we're supposed to take away from this? As it is, it's like turning the dial on the radio and catching random snippets of talk show anecdotes.

LOL

"If I were too smart, I would realize all the ills of the world."

And as usual, the actual quote is totally understandable and reasonable, but the article interpreting it is problematic and kind of twisted.

Well done, Stacker!

I just hope the movie ends with her dumping his ass for being a creepy asshole.

Please, no one ask the Ronzoni guys!!

Oh, well I didn't mean just a good writer in terms of his portrayal of women. I meant a good writer, period. The Shining and "Shawshank" are beautifully written and I don't know why he gets a bad rap for being a bad writer just because he's (1) prolific and (2) genre.

All you people saying King is a terrible writer have VERY CLEARLY never read The Shining or "Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption".

Exactly! The movie is absolutely awful, and I don't think it's because the book is better. It's just an awful film, period. Well directed, well acted, but that script is a hot mess.

Back when I read The Shining (three months ago), I read an interview on The Guardian (or The Telegraph, I don't know) where he talked about how he was so far gone into his drug and alcohol abuse, that he wrote The Shining because he thought that if he wrote about bad things, he wouldn't do them to his children. That,

He plays a biker on tv! Maybe something from Pacific Rim might appease you?

Why is he telling her to emulate tragically killed movie stars?! Jesus Christ, Ru.

This is so great and man that beautiful water is making me want to go to the beach.
