Unless these shop owners have looked at your tiny feet and said "Your feet are to small to shop here. Please leave," then your anecdote has nothing in common with what this poor girl has gone through. Also, there is zero social stigma on small feet. If anything, it's the opposite (Cinderella, etc.)

They post the episodes on the ITV site but you need to be in the UK to watch it. There are programs like TunnelBear and such that let you fool the video player into thinking you're across the pond, but they have paywalls and data limits. If you want to avoid spoilers, your only two solutions are: (a) unfriend those

Uhhmmmm, am I the only one who feels like the black woman with the big butt and the tight pants and the outside thong is kinda racist?

I am ardently agreeing with you on all of those points.

Well, it's called Glee

But I think the fact that actresses don't sue is due more to a general understanding that that is just not done, and maybe a fear that if you sue, you won't ever get a job again. The fact remains that weather producers do need to have meteorological knowledge to better perform their jobs. They don't just stand in

Man, I really fucking hate that white people keep comparing black people to apes, because I really really love apes and monkeys and I would love to have simian paraphernalia in my house, but that would just be way too tongue in cheek for me.

It's not a street, it's a highway, so it's illegal and dangerous.

He's the biracial child of civil rights activists. Your comment is ignorant, not ironic.

If his face when the verdict was announced is any indication, I think he's on his way there right now.

I read Michael Collins's memoir about a year ago. (For those who don't know, Collins was the third member of the Apollo 13 mission, the one who didn't step on the moon.) I can't quite remember exactly what he wrote about women in space, but he did express some concerns about menstruation and just overall awkwardness

Oh lordy, Helena is just getting more and more beautiful as the years pass. I am watching this one with glee.

Oh, come on. This was really lovely. She might not always express herself in the best way, but I like her, in that way someone from the US likes a minor celebrity from Prague or something (by which I mean she's kind of giving me the impression of having recessed from international stardom back to metropolitan

Fuck fuck fuck. I love Nigella so much and I want to fuck this guy up SO BAD.

I will watch anything with (1) Christina Ricci and (2) Lizzie Borden, so this works out perfectly.

Preach!

The casting isn't an issue. The issue is how they'll write it, and Steven Moffat is notoriously inept at handling women characters. I'd love a Lady Doctor but frankly, I'm very worried. I'd feel better if there was a new showrunner in place too (I was rooting for Toby Whithouse, but alas, 'twas not to be.)
