It’s not even a rebate or incentive in the normal sense. The stores are getting the incentives and the straight up sticker price you pay is super cheap, so it’s not like you can even go look at the shelf and think they are expensive (because you get a post-sale rebate or something)

You can find the dimmer LED bulbs... It took me a while, but I found some that were equivalent to a 25W incandescent, which is nice and dim for bedroom lamps.

There’s some sort of California incentive law that makes the LED bulbs really super cheap here. Like actually comparable to incandescent prices *directly* not just a number of bulbs.
