My Thots Are Terrific

“One family plan, please.”

Yeah’ that’s true. I’ll never forget that Shaq paid for George Mikan’s funeral.

So true. It would be so big for those that would be covered. But maybe the NFL realizes that the costs of helping those who were injured making the NFL billions would inconvenience their making of even more billions. My sons who are in their early twenties are starting to question their love for all things NFL.

NBA players generally show a healthy respect for those who came before them, but it’s really nice to see them doing something concrete for those players who helped pave the way for $30+ million salaries and massive endorsement deals. This is fantastic.

The NFL doesn’t provide health care for former players after systematically destroying their bodies? Jesus, that’s cruel.

A follow up study went into how the coaches who were being taught these new methods were applying them in practice.

Now playing

Last time a Raptor played for the US Olympic team in the number 9 jersey this happened..

Another piece of American exceptionalism ruined by the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

this is the only appropriate response.

Man shut the fuck up

If Deadspin’s gonna report on Spanish-language stories, it’d be cool if you guys had someone on staff who can speak the language instead of using Google Translate and secondhand accounts. It’s come up before in soccer articles, but this is an especially weird example. It’s not like this is a bad article or anything,

Did you read the article? They changed the dress code after the fact. I mean, brush up on the reading comprehension a bit if you want to call someone an idiot.

This does not negate her absolute lack of professionalism which will result in her being fired.

The dress code said clothing had to be “cleaned and pressed”, her boss changed it after she wore an “cultural headwrap” (aka a God damn scarf). The first outfit (the one with the red “x”) is what she wore, which should be perfectly acceptable in just about any office.

Lol @ professionalism.

You seem like a person who lacks empathy, and enjoys the suffering of others.

According to the article, the dress code changed after her boss said something. Pretty hard to read something that doesn’t exist.

“despite the unnamed company’s dress code simply stating that employee’s clothing needed to be “clean and pressed”.”

If you read the story, you’ll see that the Dress Code was changed AFTER she was told not to wear the scarf.

Didn’t read the article? The boss changed the dress code after the fact because they didn’t want pony tails or head scarves.
