i am genuinely waiting for the other shoe to drop when it comes to stuff like youtube. i do not think permanent, unlimited, free video hosting in perpetuity is sustainable.

I’m so happy I experienced Disney when all paying customers were treated equally.

All this has been going on for several years”

Yes but in 1997 you paid ONE price to enter the park. That was it. Now the rides are rich people first, then the poors.

I’m so happy I experienced Disney when everyone waited in the same line. No fast pass, no apps, just good old fashion standing around.

What happens to simply buying admission and going on rides whenever you like? They made it too complicated, with the intention of making some extra cash.

This is exactly what I said to Disney in a complaint letter I wrote awhile back. Why is vacationing so much work? I even heard a lady in line say, “I feel like a project manager.” I’m done going to their parks. Figure it out Disney.

Not just you!  I said the same thing.  We’ve become accustomed to having everything we’ve ever seen being readily and permanently available, but that doesn’t mean it’s always been that way (as some of us remember) or that it has to be that way.  It’s okay to have something exist only as a memory.  That’s been life

It’s going to take a while for society to really grapple with the effects of cultural deletion at this great a scale”

Honestly, who wants to turn a vacation into something this stressful and this complicated. If I’ve got to run to make a ride because I’ve got an appointment for it at a certain time or have to choose one ride over another becase I can’t have both, and added to that, I can barely get on a fraction of the rides anyway du

Never been to Disneyland and this nonsense dampens any potential enthusiasm I had of eventually going.

Not to be a dick but isn’t it just better for us to agree that all art and creation is ephemeral and we may have to let go of the idea that everything we create, at all times, can and must be preserved for as long as possible?

Carey really, genuinely enjoys hanging out with the normal, “working class” people who serve as The Price Is Right’s audience and contestants, even when they’re boozed up, which “happens all the time,” the host reveals. “They’ll have a gummy or I’ll smell alcohol on their breath. Not unusual.

It’s really fucking bad. Forgive the following infodump:

I, for one, would prefer a sound loss all around. Some sort of incalculable, humiliating landslide. Sadly, I think your outcome is more likely.

I’m still holding out hope that Trump wins the popular vote but loses the electoral college. Of all the plausible outcomes, it’s the funniest AND arguably the stupidest, so I kinda feel like the universe owes it to us.

Sometimes the AVCbot hallucinates. *sigh* This would never happen if they hired human writers around here.

I appreciate any foldable review that quickly acknowledges the crease.

So, when do we finally get rid of Kinja?

HBO should just remake the final season of GoT, so that we can all rewatch it.
