Your personal opinion is NOT the point. Other people's personal opinions on bodies not their own is the entire problem this article is addressing - it was not asking "hair down there: good or bad??" it was talking about objectification and imposed standards of beauty/body image. Endorsement of/hating of is irrelevant.

And in your same opinion you suggested that women who shave or wax their pubic hair "look like girls." So, you are elevating a group of women with an attribute that turns you on sexually while denigrating women who don't have that same attribute.

You said they make a woman look like a woman (yeah, thanks. lets talk more about how it's impossible to tell a 12 year old from a 21 year old unless you can see their pubes) and about what you personally like. I'm letting you know, we don't care. We are told what gets dudes hard all the time. And guess what!? There

No one cares about your opinion in this case because you are a man. This is about how women feel about themselves. You don't get to be part of that conversation.

Why are dudes always so eager to tell strangers what they like and dislike about women's naked bodies? No one currrrz.

PMS, women be hatin', feminazis, etc. etc. Take your pick. If you want to know why I was specifically calling you out, it's because you offered your unsolicited male opinion about what turns you on. On a feminist-leaning website. In a conversation about the fact that women are often made to feel uncomfortable no

The point is that we're discussing what's wrong with objectification and trying to figure out whether this ad campaign helps or hinders the effort to free women from
it. Jumping in with "this is what I like sexually" is the exact opposite of the point.

I had never heard of either of them before this, but this clip makes me wish I was friends with them.

I laughed really, really hard.

Yeah, I'm surprised. I've never see a The Real L Word cast member outside of the show.

Nahhh, I just don't care about what gives you a boner. None of us do.

Yeah, LeAnn probably still mutters to herself when she checks her Twitter and has trained herself to slap her own hand away to avoid responding.

Thank GOD! I have been waiting to hear what you think. I can relax now.

I vaguely remember that Twitter thing. Granted, I really don't follow anything about her at all. Didn't she pipe down with that stuff? Sort of learned her lesson? Again, something that Brandi Glanville seems incapable of.

We created it to invite passerbys to explore the idea of what is 'sexy' and consider their comfort with the natural female form.

Brandi Glanville has convinced me that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are probably perfectly lovely and balanced individuals. At least by comparison.

I love how you guys are basically having to admit that you're assholes and they didn't actually change much and Lena Dunham actually *does* look that fantastic without Photoshop. So YOU are the ones who are jerks for saying, "Lena Dunham couldn't possibly look this pretty or thin without the magic of photo editing!!!"

Also: you forgot to mention:

Gee, Jezebel, thanks so much for providing this invaluable public service. I hope you all sleep well tonight.

WOW GUYS YOU REALLY GOT THE SCOOP ON THAT ONE
