I haven't read this novella (but I will!), however I very seriously love her work. I think she has a way of portraying relationships between women (both amazing and terrible) that is unparalleled. I re-read Cat's Eye whenever I'm hurting for something good to get into.

It was actually a super creepy doll, when I think back about my own. When you pressed the button to move her arms it made this weird mechanical motion and sometimes the hands got caught on her hair and just kept pulling and pulling.
