I'm always okay being the asshole. :)

My point is that people have existed without these things since almost forever. I can feel for the women involved but social media is not an inalienable human right and prisoners do not need it.
They can still do phone calls, visits and letters, as has been done for MANY years before Instagram was ever invented. The horror! They might have to pick up a real pen and some note paper!
Prisons have existed for literally thousands of years. Prisoners do not need to Instagram in order to carry out relationships. People can still visit and accept phone calls or they can write a fucking letter like they did back in the Dark Ages, aka before 1997.
All of these wives' issues are valid (particularly the guard harassment, WTF?) and I'm glad they have created a community to support each other but this part:
See, I think Dodai was right about the crotch length and sleeves. I like the fabric and the concept but I think the cut leaves a lot to be desired.
I do not believe for a second that either of them dresses themselves.
This rationale is like when you get shitfaced at the office holiday party and end up going home with the weird, slightly smelly guy from purchasing simply because there is no better option.
I'm obsessed with Blake's dress.
I actually hate the dress, but my point was more the hair, so at least we agree on that. :)
On one hand, she was one of the few people who didn't look stupid at the Met Ball!
I think she must have done it herself also.
The dress is fab, but what is going on with her hair?
Things I took away from this:
Totally agree. I loved the angst of it when I was Holden's age but now I'm just like, "Really, dude? Get the fuck over it."
YES. A THOUSAND TIMES YES.
I liked Catcher in the Rye way back when I read it in high school, but it's basically a whiny teenage boy book. I'd much rather they taught Franny & Zooey, which I think has better characters and deals with much larger issues than Catcher did. I still go back to F&Z sometimes when I'm having a "life crisis." The last…
Regardless of what you think of Salinger's work, you can't really deny the amount of influence and acclaim his books have had in the last century. So for this commenter to say, "Is that still a thing" is, in my opinion, a bit ignorant. Yes, it's still a thing and it's going to be a thing for another long while, most…
It's not that she criticized the book, it's the way she said it. She is just so, so fucking pretentious all the time. She's like that annoying, sanctimonious vegan friend we all have who won't stop chattering about compost and fossil fuels. Like, give it a rest for a minute and talk like a normal person.
