My advice

After accounting for inflation, here’s what the following popular hot hatches would cost in 2022:

Back when they were slow and FWD only, sure.

A 2000 VW GTI 1.8T had an MSRP of $19,225, or $31,384 in 2021 dollars.  An Accord LX was $18,390 back then.

If you think 36k is expensive just wait for the delicious dealer markups. I’m guessing the base is gonna be around 45k and the top trim will probably cut around 60k.

it’s not unethical.

they’re a “stealership” because they’re middlemen that add nothing except increased cost. the dealership model exists, in reality, to benefit dealers, not consumers. they’ve paid mightily to own politicians over the years and it has paid off many times over.

Thankfully you only need a mortician once.

I bought a Polestar 2 this year and it’s a D2C setup. No haggling, no add-ons, no markups. I ordered my car and did my credit application online, test drove the car at the showroom, and I think I had to lay down two or three wet signatures before driving off with the car two weeks later. It was the only pleasant car

Found Bubble’s account here.

No. I’m tall and moderately well built. The G70 was cramped and I had the seat all the way back, touching the seat behind it. I wanted to love it, but it was too small.

I think he’d at least want to step up to a G80 if he’s looking for size.

I still maintain this whole thing is being rushed and I foresee nothing but chaos as a result UNLESS the prices of the cars come down dramatically between now and then and the infrastructure is improved dramatically. Otherwise this is just going to put additional financial strain on people who are already at their

Or, and I’m just spitballing here, save yourself thousands of dollars in medical costs and actual pain, and put the chip in a super thin wristband that is basically invisible.

I’ll take the ‘Tesla owners doing too much for no reason’ for 200 Alex.

Was hoping I wasn’t the only one who thought that penalty was insanely high on a truck 10+ years past it’s warranty end date....

I test drove a FiST back to back with the FoST on a closed course that Ford had set up as part of its Ecoboost promotions and have to say in that autocross set up the FiST was far more enjoyable than the FoST.

Best combo. Fight me.

Boom. Meets all the criteria. FiST is the answer.

They did have a sunroof option, I have one - with Recaro’s. Backup camera was 19's only.

Fiesta ST. Selling close to original MSRP now, but still under 20k. Fits the bill, though I’m not sure if they came with a sunroof. Mine didn’t, and I wouldn’t want one with a sunroof anyway.
