My wife and I test drove one (she’s still in minivan denial). I had a theory that it would be nice before going in and after driving it around for a half hour and playing around inside, that theory was validated. Out of all the 3 row SUVs we’ve driven, it was one of the nicest steering, nicest feeling interior, and

I LOVED my 4th Gen Prelude back in highschool!!! Thought it would easily work with modern infotainment screens. Guess Lincoln agreed.

I’ve met someone who worked at a major OEM, went to Rivian, then came back because of stability (ironic considering I was talking with him shortly after our mass layoff last fall). But the stories he told me made it sound like the Wild West. I think some of the really early jumpers probably got promotions a lot faster

I have a few acquaintances that were initially hired by the Plymouth location only to move to the Irvine one a year later. I interviewed there prepandemic, but I would have had to move to Irvine as a base but still travel back and forth. As a then newlywed, I had to turn it down.

I’m on the Mustang launch team right now. There’s still a good amount of enthusiasts here on this team at least. Though, we can’t determine what gets made/sold, only work on getting a functioning product out the door.

I definitely was part of the keyboard warriors that blasted the @Ford homepage with disapproval. I’m glad there are some of us enthusiasts who still fight the good fight

4th Gen Focus ST.

Unless he’s also like me and his video games turn out to be Need For Speed and Forza ha

My nearly 2 year old is so car crazy, he will definitely be learning how to drive manual. Between me working on the Mustang team at Ford, and my father in law being a retired studio director and certified car nut, my son gets inundated with car stuff. He’s always double fisting Hotwheels cars and every time he rides

My father in law and I went on Saturday. While it was still fun, it was a shadow of its former self. My father in law has been to many shows and debuted many cars through his career. Seeing how empty the floor was caused him to mourn the demise of the auto show. We talked about the glory days of the auto show. So many

My Dad’s 2000 BMW Z3. It’s over 20 years old now, so the interior is starting to disintegrate, the steering is sloppy, the seats slide under braking, and the car never had much power. BUT it was the car I learned to drive manual on and I have so many fond memories cruising Phoenix in “winter” with the top down.

Hey my Ford peeps. How are you doing after yesterday? Hope you’re doing ok and that your teams are coping. It’s been rough in my neck of the woods. Yesterday was a really bad day...

It’s a pretty stiff ride. It basically has no sidewall and the suspension has been stiffened compared to a regular Fiesta (or Focus). I found that it gets a little bouncy on Michigan concrete freeways due to the short wheelbase, but over in Utah (where my brother lives), I never found it too harsh.

I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again. The Fiesta ST is the most FUN/$MSRP I’ve ever driven. It makes even regular 4 way intersections somehow fun.

All Fiestas had a badly designed HVAC where the part that changes from front to feet can wear out and not function. The only fix is a full HVAC replacement. My brother has gone through 2 already. It’s really a shame. Glad you’ve had good success with your FoST!

I love FiST’s (I helped my brother get his), but they aren’t the most reliable vehicles. My brother has only 40k on his and has had week long shop visits every year and he babies his car. If the buyer is really wanting reliability, I don’t know if I’d recommend one (especially an older one).

I honestly thought the title image was Hamilton vs Verstappen until I read the image.

The Fiesta ST had a torsion bar rear and it’s easily the most fun car I’ve ever driven, so I think it can be done with the right know how.

Totally agree!

I found that the Audio quality vs bluetooth was SIGNIFICANT when I was listening to audiobooks especially. It was jarring if I was on Android Auto and then went to Bluetooth (Like if I was in a parking lot and disconnected to send a text).
