Since when do EVs have insane maintenance costs? I just got the 20k service done on my Polestar and you know what they did? Replace the wiper blades and filled the washer fluid. It cost $0.

This is probably driven by millennials getting old af and making up a larger portion of the new car buying public. And sporty cars being slightly more popular than before.
Obligatory;
I only hope they make it pure electric or gasoline hybrid - as promising as hydrogen is, I’d like to be able to fill these up in states that aren’t California.
Gotta stop this whole burning man is for the rich thing. Yes, there are people with money out there, lots of them. But the majority are just regular people, in a van, a rented RVs, people car camping. But the camps and tech bros whatever the fuck that is, get the attention.
This is not a rich sport. Tickets are…
ah yes 90% of the population should be driving a *checks notes* 23 year old car! of course! totally not any safety/emissions/maintenance problems with 23 year old cars that actually make them worse than paying a longer loan! certainly not!
Go go Gadgetmobile!
Inspector Gadget’s car.
If we aint talking about the Batmobile from arguably the best era of Cartoon superhero shows...
Glad someone else noticed that. Ford has nearly 3000 US dealers. That means an average of just over 3 per dealership and per the article around half are in transit so we're really talking about 1.5 mustang Evs at the average lot. Doesn't really sound like they are piling up.
same exact conclusion 3 years ago.
The CX9 was a step above the rest of the 3 row SUVs out in 2018 ( Telluride/ Palliside not available). The interior and info system were great, driving was fun and felt connected to the road. but that 3rd row was so tight, no way an adult is riding back there.
I’m sorry but this doesn’t make sense. Just because two cars have the same method of propulsion doesn’t mean that they’re going to drive exactly the same - a car is more than just its engine. By this logic, you shouldn’t be able to distinguish between a Forester and a BRZ, since they both have flat-fours. EVs can have…
The joke is on YOU if you think the automaker won’t just keep that margin for themselves.
The two purposes they seem to serve are:
My Ford dealer actually did this several years back, but in a good way, offering X Plan pricing without even asking/haggling. But I’m pretty sure that’s not what Farley has in mind because, well, he seems like an Elon-worshiping schmuck.
The jokes on you because you are negotiating with a middle man that is already inflating the price. You don’t stand to save, only minimize the added markup.
“Those represented in the case say the issues are dangerous and potentially life-threatening.....
Yes, similar to the ones they had on the Continental.
I.... Like it?
Assuming this is based on the new Chinese-market Ford Edge?
