My wife is SUPER anti-minivan. Heck, it took me a year to convince her that the Kia Telluride is a good option (all of those comparison tests wins and awards helped). We don’t plan on buying on for a few years, but I’d love to get a CPO of the top trim in that moss green or burgundy. We’ll see how life pans out until

To give you a visual of how hard he is to miss while on bike...

Yeah there are some really neat roads that I’d love to bike, but since there’s no shoulder, they’re a hard no for me. I’d rather not risk it. I think you’re very much justified.

I love biking and used to bike to high school, but I try to never been on main roads if I can help it. Thankfully there are bike/walk trails near me. The recklessness is terrifying. If people can’t pay attention enough to see someone as ginormous as Shawn Bradley, then there’s no way I would stand out.

Hmmm. I’m not terribly familiar with all of the names. Which one would be best? Has to be one of the crazier, daring ones...

Now playing

To honor her memory, one of her most epic laps.

How do you like the Telluride? I’ve bargained with my wife to the point that she’s good with a Telluride instead of her preferred Suburban (grew up in a GM family...). I love the look of them and think they’d be perfect for whenever we hit multiple kids (I think I can get her to wait until #3...?).

Obligatory

My story is in it and I barely care... I’m cool with it going away

That really sucks. Do you think that with more experience with that car/RWD, you’d have saved it?

Once I move this summer, I plan on doing the M14 route to go between climbing gym and home since it will be a couple of minutes faster. I’ll be happier for it I think.

I do something similar. I treat it like a racing line, getting into the proper gear to then GO, but I’ll go super slow before to make a larger gap (didn’t work with the CRV guy).

100% agree. Its bendy and short, so if you’re going on it, you have to accelerate hard. A couple of weeks ago, I was stuck behind a CRV that didn’t understand this and merged at 60mph (Speed limit 70) with me behind him but a Ford F250 closing fast on the freeway. The Ford had to slam on his breaks and I quickly

Images of my car (the snow storm caught up while we waited for the tow truck) and the location from street view with drawings of what happened.

My wife and I were driving back from Lake Michigan one Saturday evening. We were trying to get home before a snow storm hit. For those who are familiar with SE Michigan, on the 94 coming towards Ann Arbor, the freeway bends south. The Jackson Rd onramp is a weird sharp right bend with a short on ramp. I take it every

That’s sad about the Mazda dealerships. When I got my Mazda3 back in 2019, I got the full cost and did a facetime handshake on the car before I drove from Michigan to Maryland (where my in-laws-live) to pick the car up (Soul Red, Touring trim, Manual sedan). The dealer was great and I was out of the building in 30

Can’t Wait!

If it was a new car that I knew I was interested in? Sure!

It went from mid 50's and sunny yesterday to mid 30's, windy and overcast today... So I’m down with thinking of warmer days

That’s pretty similar to why I got to drive the one I did. Ford has a policy that cars cannot enter the building (not including the garage areas) with more than 1/4 tank. We needed it for a design review and it was sitting at a half a tank. Since it was a track car, the miles per gallon was 4!!!! I figured that it
