Is David Tracy allowed to simply link all of his Moab trips?
That was the benefit of being an FCG in Mustang Vehicle Integration. Most fun I have ever had at Ford. I hope to get back to something like that again in the future...
When I started at Ford, these things weren’t uncommon and I was lucky enough to have a few experiences riding in them. I did get a chance to drive one on the track though. One of the scarier things I’ve done. Reason why it was scary was because it was the track manager’s favorite (but it was the one my team needed),…
I actually always liked the 6's back end. I liked the different lines, especially in M guise. However, I never grew to like the 7's backside though, so there’s a fine line for me on the Bangle butt.
Mine is a decent sound system. Nothing crazy, but not the base junk that gets blown in 2 years. I’ve only ever owned 3 cars and my first two had blown speakers or blew their speakers (I’m playing audio books or rock and normal levels). Now my Mazda3 has the upgraded Bose speakers. I’m not really expecting much in…
I have an 18MY manual Mazda3 with the 2.5L (185hp) engine. My only wish is that the car had 20ish more HP, so 50 HP more would be very welcome. The driving dynamics are great as it. It’s a nice highway cruiser but still enjoys the few roundabouts I have near my place (SE Michigan is a little flat and straight). I’ve…
Before my time, what was the big draw of the Eddie Bower that isn’t matched by the King Ranch? Honest question.
I’m guessing that if they’ve pushed up the redesign for the interior, there has been enough complaints from owners on their 3 month surveys. Those internal quality complaints get tracked and eventually reported all the way up to those that get paid to make the decisions.
I always called it Puke Yellow. I love that it’s a color for colors sake, but I’d never be caught dead owning it.
I like the idea of a diverse portfolio. Not everyone has the same needs, so in theory, a different energy source could fit the differing needs.
Remind me not go flying with you...
In one of the video interviews with the GT chief, he explained it was something to do with the amount of airflow they’re trying to get to pass through and how flimsy it would have made parts of the hood.
Tires are that thing that make most of the difference but everyone forgets about. Kinda sad really.
Heck, my little FWD Blizzak equipped Mazda3 manual is having a blast when no other cars are on the roads. I live in Canton and I measured 10 inches combined yesterday, so pretty close to what you had. Go snow tire team!
Totally agree. I’ll even add that I love Shark Blue too, but yeah, seeing that $223,000 Bring a Trailer GT3 Touring yesterday, I think most people prefer the look of the 991's, though I think the 992's will still sell just fine.
I’ll be honest, not a big fan of the nostrils. I know from Carfection that there were some technical limitations as to why they did it, but I don’t think it looks great. I’d take the previous gen GT3 every single time if offered both. But since I can’t afford either, so I guess it doesn’t matter to Porsche...
My dad’s is one of the rare 2001 2.5L that were badged 2.3. Because he bought it as a “company car” his business partner would only let him get the smallest engine (my dad was dreaming about the M for a short bit). Even though it isn’t fast and the steering needs to be tightened back up, I still love every minute I…
