I was thinking the same thing honestly. I feel like the commercial semi truck market would be really great for Hydrogen. The vehicles are big enough that they can store the tanks with less significant loss and being able to refill faster instead of charging could be beneficial for the cross country routes.

Oh that would be one crazy night! Now I totally want to do that...

100% agree. I think the Rivian works way better as an overall design. If I was dropping stupid amounts of money on a future luxury SUV, it would be the Rivian hands down.

Anyone else getting Rivian SUV vibes from the rear? I think for me, it’s due to the high bumper (for clearance I assume) and the oddly square roof line.

I’d love to see open tops like on Corvettes come back in style. Best of both worlds in my opinion. Structure for those who like coupes and open tops for those who like wind in their hair (like me).

I was actually thinking of this when I saw the headline for this article.

It’s funny, I can hear his voice in that tweet

Better believe they’re accidental. I know people in marketing and I’m in engineering and oh man were people PISSED when leaks happened. Everyone got a talking to. Mandated online training, more security protocols (including no USB transfer), more limits on camera usage in prototype plants. It’s really made my job just

I think I’m weird, but I LIKE the sound of the V6 in the Raptor (and now Bronco). V8's are cool and all, but they don’t get me going. I’ve always been more partial to the 6's coming from Germany and Japan. Guess I’m special...

I went on one at the start of high school with my family. There were some good parts of it. We got to see the 4 main Hawaiian islands in 1 trip, planning activities was easy for my parents to do, and as a teen, I was able to maximize the sheer amount of food I could put down (1 foot tall soft serve cone to finish

Yep. Even the shape is similar to this one...

I checked Autotrader a month or two ago and looked at manual 2018 Mazda3 Touring sedans to see how my car stacks up. Interestingly, if I sold my car in the upper middle, I’d have driven my car 25,000 miles over a year and a half and would only lose $500 in value. I’ll take that as a win!

The leather quality is completely different. For the top 2 levels, they’re using the same leather suppliers as Lincoln Black Label cars. On King Ranch, the leather is almost twice as thick (which gave us a terrible time getting the ventilated seats to work right...). The instrument panels go from just hard plastic

Heck for the same price, I’d go for a 2017 Raptor and a Miata around to tow around to tracks.

I think he was meaning, there are better interior trim levels. That looks like a Lariat that they modified. King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited all have way nicer materials in the cabin (with a lot of plastic still around).

Yeah the new Cherokee looks... weird...

Cannibalization isn’t necessarily a bad thing, especially if the incoming product is that much better. Look at iPhone cannibalizing the iPod.

I think they’ll be 2 very distinct markets (I think the Sport might end up the bigger market, but still)

No, this was always after. The Bronco was always going to be a bigger vehicle and the Sport didn’t merge with the Bronco as a brand until a little while into the design. The Sport was always intended to target Millennials and Gen Z’s who like the outdoors. So from the beginning, the 2 vehicles had different target
