So my desk mate worked on the initial plans of it. So many engineers and designers wanted to get rid of the shifter and make it a column one (like in the Super Duty) so it would be easier to do stuff like the armrest foldout work surface. But for some reason, F150 buyers were quite adamant about having their super

Me reading the title and getting excited, only to actually look at the fascia...

There’s a reason why that Honda engine is special. They’ve been able to do what most other manufacturers can’t. Granted, that engine isn’t pumping out 526 hp either...

Sadly, that’s the nature of the beast. The BMW S54 and S65 consume at similar rates as teh GT350 Voodoo. Consumption rate depends on how often you’re revving it to 8k. My friends who daily their cars say that the consumption is only bad when they’re gunning it, like on a track day.

The high amount of rusty cars is a big handicap I would say (I live near Ann Arbor). I was SHOCKED at the amount of rusted cars and beaters out here. You really only see the nice cars on Woodward or a car meet up.

The big news is the Tremec 6 speed.

Knowing people here at work... yep 100%

Now let Henry Catchpole and Carfection take a crack at the same open roads with that car. Their video work is seriously some of the best out there!

That is exactly how I felt when I got to that part...

If it was out when I was buying early last year, I would have 100% done it. Now that I have a Mazda3 that I love, the proposition of a trade-in + new car payments has to get thrown into the mix. I see a ton of 18MY 3's on the road, but hardly any of the new body style.

I don’t really know to be honest. Non-car people can still be passionate about the products they make, no matter how small. On the other hand,I feel like passion projects like the GT350 or any of the real Ford Performance cars would lesser vehicles without the car guy passion. I feel like the Camaro and Corvette are

In that same idea, I was shocked how many NON-car people work at the Detroit OEM’s and suppliers. I’d tell people of a cool car I saw over the weekend and they’d look at me blank faced. Within Ford at least, there are some groups that have more car people than others (Ford Performance, vehicle dynamics, etc...). It fas

Interesting because the only one I saw was in the Raleigh Durham area last summer. It was a launch edition in the matte grey. It was closer to Wake Forest but in Raleigh.

Call them High-Functioning sociopath?

Also, I know they’re even more impractical, but this is the one that’s been in my dreams. I like to check Autotrader to see if they’re depreciating at a rate where I’ll be able to afford one by the time I can justify another car...

When I was on the Mustang team (I swear I’m not biased. I enjoy driving the Camaro too), we did the equivalent of driving 3 (including me, the driver) of 5'10"-6' height from work out to lunch and back. So not too long, but the one in the back was expressing how surprised he with the comparable leg room. The front

I’m just going off of what the forums typically say, so there’s that. I just really want to be in the situation to get ANY decently new convertible...

I thought of the Mustang too! You can get certified pre-owned ones too, if there’s a little nicer spec. It will definitely last longer than a 15 year old German car. And the back seats are somewhat usable for a quick run or kids.

I was thinking this when I saw the header. The S54, although desirable, might be more maintenance than the buyer might want. If that’s the case, I’d simply recommend the regular 3.0i of the later years of that Z4 body.
