So the S550 Mustangs are oddly MORE useable as a convertible. For average height adults, there’s enough leg room, front and back to short term comfortably squeeze them in. The headroom is the big difference though. In the coupe, an adult will hit their head every time. Maybe some kids. But the convertible is more

My story is pretty straightforward. While in college, I saw the door to the BYU RACING lab. I knocked on it and asked if there was anything I could do to help. I ended up being part of the pit crew for the BYU electric E1 streamliner (under 1100 lbs class). We set the record at 204 mph after a few summers at the Salt

I think this website is appropriate for this conversation ;)

I feel like it’s dark enough to appease the Black and dark Grey buyers but unique enough when it shines. Perfect mix for this color climate we’re in.

There’s a jeep dealer near me with a lot of fun colors too! The front row is teal, red, yellow, orange, teal, green, yellow, red, yellow, etc... It was amazing to see every time I would drive to the climbing gym!

My father in law is trying to help the cause!!!

I agree that silver has a place and I enjoy the darker, more graphite tones. BUT I think the reason I and most people on here are so anti-silver is due to the ratios. When all the interesting colors (minus blue and red) are hovering around 1% due to the dominance of colors like silver, you get pretty bitter. You get

I think this sentence explains the current achromatic trend we see at least in North America (I can’t speak for other regions since I don’t know the customs and social aspects there): Cars are perceived as hi-tech, so the psychological association of the color of metal surfaces, silver to silver=gray, naturally found

At least they have the design contracts with Amazon and Ford already in place. I think they’re set up ok as long as there is a market to sell in later this year/early next year...

Same. I took my car for a warm up drive to get all the fluids moving and brakes de-rusted/oxidized. I hadn’t touched it for a month already and with all the weather that SE Michigan gets this time of year, it took about 20 minutes before my brakes were normal again. But it’s been sitting at 2/3rd of a tank since

I really liked the Need For Speed Heat Studio app. It’s only the car customization, but lets be honest, that’s half the fun of the paid games.

Heck, the Rivians should be just as good as the new Defender or Bronco. I’m curious how this whole lockdown is affecting their product launch later this year...

It’s like what Clarkson always says, the fastest car you can drive is a car for hire (rental).

Haha how was that? I doubt they were as brave (or stupid) as I was. Also, when we did real off roading (Hells Revenge), we took the Jeeps and 4Runners

This reminds me of the time I took my 2010 Mazda6 with 3 friends and a full trunk on some dirt trails in Moab to go see some of the less known arches (Gemini Arch was one of them). It’s just dirt trails with a couple of dips that cars would need to care about, but otherwise not a big deal. Imagine my surprise when I

I don’t know how it happened, but the theoretical car that I would have actually exists!

I knew that had to be you in the Hawaiian Shirt!!! Haha glad you have such a distinctive style ;)

Andrew, can you answer a question I had? In the scene where everyone was running down the dune, why are so many people dressed in the exact same outfit? Was there a uniform or something or do automotive journalists all subscribe to similar styles (Jalopnik is so special, I’d expect you to not adhere)??

I don’t even love the look of the vehicle (mainly the front end), but man, I’ve been going back to that video so much. The videography is on the level of the high budget shows (Top Gear, Grand Tour, etc...). Top marks all around.

Had a similar experience.
