The old one was one of the hardest launching cars already too. Kinda scary how close these performance cars are getting to the max traction limit of the tires...

I’m probably a minority, but every time I see the new 992 gen, all I see is the bumper seam line on the front fascia. It REALLY bugs me! It’s like a crooked line in an otherwise straight line design. I know from an engineering perspective why it can’t be flush, but why did they have to make it so close?? It really

Interestingly, you can see how crash regulations have pushed the bumper beam up and up, which has had the net effect up pushing the taillights much higher than just 20-30 years ago.

My mom had an E60 530i and I remember all of the automotive reviewers HATED the new design. I think it’s ironic how well it has aged. Minus a few things like the infotainment, it could easily be a modern design today. As much as we bash on him, Chris Bangle really did innovate car design that the rest of the industry

I’ve always been partial to the late 90's - early 00's era BMW’s. But that’s when my family started buying them and I got really into BMW’s.

I rented one on Turo a couple of years ago. I was shocked how much I liked the V6 sound out of that Camaro. I was thoroughly impressed.

Agreed. I had money ready for the new Focus ST (HATE the last gen ST interior with a passion. The interior was a major deal breaker for me). I ended up happy in my 3 but my heart still yearns for the ST we never got.

If I remember correctly, the yellow 2016 Mustang GT that Motor Trend had (among others) never got above 20,000 miles after it returned from reviews. Maybe 30,000 at most? We used it for various other tests when it was with us, but all those test cars have short, hard lives and are scrapped after just a few years.

Well it’s like the MK7, but the exterior design language is watered down and the front lines don’t follow each other. The side character line is gone, which makes the car far more anonymous and blobby. The headlights are pulled down incredibly low (wondering if there was some regulations pulling it down), which has

Great combo. I own a 6D as well (but an f/4 70-200. I like light lenses). Kind of perfect for static cars since the AF system is... archaic. Keep up the shots!

As one who grew up in Phoenix, I totally agree. When you add asphalt temps, you can get to 130F pretty easily on the road.

I’m pretty surprised how similar the middle door looks from the Google view to the SEMA car. Their outline is nearly identical. Google knew what it was creating...

But sadly it’s about on par with other ICE brands. My little brother has gone through 2 HVAC compressors on his Fiesta ST (thankfully bother under warranty) and he only has 23,000 miles on his car so far.

So basically, the taillight is following the same shape as the outline from the Bronco R. Got it!

Definitely more like guidelines ;)

It amazed me that one of the reasons the Ford execs didn’t bring the new Focus over to the US was due to similar math. The F150 was considered “green” while the Focus was below the target, even though in real life, the Focus is far more fuel efficient. The footprint was its disadvantage.

My brother actually got a CPO one after tax for $42k. He’s been loving it (the warranty has also been nice since he’s already had to take it in once...)! M2 is a great option, right up there with the GT350 that Kristen recommended.

Porsche’s Paint to Sample is kinda sorta “Factory” right? So Porsche has a history of pink cars then...
