No she said she didn’t want to push the baby to solids too soon. That’s ambiguous.

Seriously! A little cereal in that bottle before bed and that kid will zonk out cold every night. And yes, she should be having other solids as well. At 9 months food should certainly be introduced.

Yes, at this age my kids both had three meals a day with me (and maybe some other things too because they were always starving). They’d get their boob or bottle and then have food. Ain’t nothing wrong with real food.

I didn’t get that either. The baby is probably really hungry, because developmentally she should be eating *some* solids by now. At least every baby book I ever read said that 4 months is the earliest to start and 6 months is the norm. So yeah...that definitely got a ::head tilt:: from me.

They’re supposed to be eating at least a couple of baby sized meals a day at that point with protein and breastfeeding too (or bottle). No wonder her kid is hungry in the middle of the night.

Wait, is she saying you can’t feed solids and breast feed? I know I’m a man, but that can’t be right. We fed my son solids and he had his milk too at 6 months and he was gravy. I think the baby is waking up because it is hungry.
