Think for a second. Think about how egotistical you need to be to start the season as QB, have your shoulder explode around week 2, not come back until the end, see your team go 1-15 and think “heh, nailed it.”

With Holm, she tried to out-strike a striker instead of relying on her successful and battle-tested wrestling/takedown skills. She fought with pride instead of brains.

It’s just baffling to me that, if she really WAS trying, she didn’t improve her striking defense or change her gameplay at all from the LAST fight where she got knocked out and everyone started questioning her abilities. Same mistakes made for the same reason.
