Most boomers and Xers don’t even know what a Millennial is, except “those damned kids”.
Seriously. I feel like over half my generation never got off the ground and are still in some kind of limbo. Their only chance at this point is that the labor market remains tight in their fields like it is now... People are blowing up my email & phone trying to hire me at this point. It’s like 1999, which is both…
You can do this? When I got married my wife asked me to add her to my AARP and I laughed that it was still going to be a while before I qualified. She meant my AAA, which I did, and I believe it provides similar discounts.
I never held these jobs, so it was once possible. I worked in my field through college, paying my tuition on summer jobs. This really wasn’t possible after the early 00s, though.
They also called us the MTV generation. We really didn’t grow up in an analog world, but we remember some of the era before ubiquitous computers. Computers were already established in schools by the time I started and I had one at home before starting kindergarten (it was a hand-me-down from my dad’s friend, a…

That’s why their gallon and our gallon are different. It’s also why you can’t directly compare US mpg and UK mpg.
Millennials were old enough to remember the year 2000. The birth years are ~1980-1996.
Oh, well, that’s because it’s a UK show and they’re on the continent.
They also drink pints in the pubs.
I have no clue where the signs are in metric in the UK. They list everything in miles.
They do MPG, too, but don’t get confused by it - the G is different between the US and the UK. UK gallons are bigger.
The Focus ST in this video would have been built in Germany. It’s not a US-spec one, as readily evidenced by the wheels that are not available on the US model (those are stock 19" wheels over there, while the US version only gets 18" wheels)
Because the UK uses MPH.
