Of Course God's Harvard Has a Sexual Assault Problem (fixed).

Eastern Mountain Sports. It's like REI, but based in, umm, the East.

Rescued a kitten, got bitten had to go for full rabies series.

I like Mr. Excel and Excel is Fun! Both have videos and downloadable practice spreadsheets. Both are free.

VLOOKUP has impressed more people at my firm than I should admit to (I'm the Excel guru where I work). Seriously, it is like magic for people who've never seen it before. If you truly want to make them believe you are a witch, index(match) is the shizz.

I saw it last night. It's big enough to sit on the head of a person about 5'3" or so. The assistant curator said it fit her.

Ahhh! I went to the Met to see this last night and got sidetracked by Byzantine textiles. Will try again today.

I went last night. It is right around the corner from the Metropolitan Museum. Worth the detour. Also, an often neglected but amazing gem is the NY Historical Society, next door to the American Museum of Natural History.

I went to see this last night. The museum is only two little galleries but it's very well curated. In addition to the oldest crown, there is the oldest known compound bow. This, clearly, was a culture not to be fucked with.

One of the most beautiful men I've ever met (astrophysicist and fashion model, I kid you not) chimed in during a conversation once that the style of a lady's undergarments were completely irrelevant and that the sexiest kind are the kind that come off quickly. I have taken that factoid as gospel.

If they are open this weekend, I am going this weekend.

I want to thank you for calling my attention to a frickin' Institute for the Study of the Ancient World. How is that a thing that I didn't know about?

Maybe he's just trying to leverage that love now. All good.

If the animal is unsuitable for breeding, why isn't neutering an option?

Oooof.

I want to marry this comment.

I have two black cats (see above) and I love them to death but it is so hard to get a good photo of them. This is a great picture.

Thanks! I'm active in the skeptic/feminist community so I purposely adopted two black cats (unrelated, they were born a month apart) and gave them lady-scientist names. I'm hopeful that little Hypatia doesn't meet the same fate as her namesake, however.

I would always try to get the late great Hank Williams to watch Westminster with me, but he never really showed much interest. Best in Show? Best in EVER!
