I really like sour candy, vinegar, kombucha etc but I cannot seem to get into sour beers. The closest thing to a sour beer that I've really liked is Green Flash Passion Fruit Kicker. About 10 years ago my dad was brewing Berliner weiße and adding raspberry syrup, and that was ok I guess, as long as the balance was

I learned the cup trick months after finding out I can't eat mango anymore. Anyway, it's a neat trick and everyone should try it at least once.

Avocado are tolerable in sushi rolls, and small amounts of guac on burritos. Otherwise they are grass-flavored-butter devil fruit.

Knew a girl who was super high and wanted to make some fresh guac and tried to do that fancy knife trick to get the stone out, but instead of whacking it with the edge of the knife she tried to jab it with the tip. It slid off the slippery pit and clean through the avocado and almost all the way though the palm of her

Played Star Wars Battle Pod (the single player enclosed one) for the first time ever on Saturday. Didn't realize I was timed on picking a difficulty/course and wound up playing the hardest level "Vader's Revenge" for my first go, and won the mission. That was pretty fun. I also did some tipsy Mario Karting, seeing as

Quarterworld on SE Hawthorne. It's an all ages barcade. (Just played StarWars Battle Pod there on Saturday for the first time) Voodoo isn't really worth the hype to me. Another thumbs up for Powell's on Burnside. Maybe Cinema21 for a movie?

Me. I do. I give a shit.

Our principal sent out a letter to all parents to advise them that bouncy balls had been banned. The little rubber gumball machine toys. Somehow those became super popular in 6th grade, along with contests to see how long one could keep an atomic fireball in their mouth.
In Jr high they pulled the packets of hot cider

extremely important to not get those two mixed up on your first session

The very end should only be read in broad daylight for sure. Ugh. Just thinking about it now makes me shudder.

The tooth scene in 12 Monkeys was the first time I'd nearly vomited in a movie theatre. There's been other things I had to avert my eyes from but I can't recall which have made me physically Ill. The face peeling scene in Hannibal season 2 was pretty damn nauseating. The sound of slurred audio, like when a VHS tape

Hands down one of my all time favorite musicals, even though its religious. I am SO excited.

Very worth watching

I'm partial to sort of old fashioned person names for animals, like Percival, Ruby, Oliver, Stella, Rose. My bff named her first child the same name as one of my former cats (Juniper). It's a lovely name, but a little bit awkward to me to call out "Junie!" and have a child come running instead of a little grey cat.

Theatrical. I like the voiceover, and the "happy ending" It was the first version I ever saw, and so any other version w/o the voiceover seems odd.

better be

it is, and I loved it because when I was a kid my grandma was a big fan of Chariots of Fire and had the soundtrack, so oddly Blade Runner makes me nostalgic for my grandma, but i'm not annoyed with the author's turn of phrase here. I am confused with the misreading a bunch of people seem to be doing though.

since when does "soundscape" mean soundtrack. it's a Tangerine Dream like spacey electronic soundscape. i should hope the writer meant that at least.

"soundscape" not soundtrack.

*sigh* Too much shit blowing up. But I'm still going to watch it.
