It’s a solid tell. I think Dan Savage said he recognizes fake letters because they include a lot of unnecessary irrelevant detail. I think because sometime the liar is putting a lot of thought and energy into sounding convincing.

I want to see Will and Hannibal in a twisted, overtly romantic relationship. If Fuller is now in a position to give me that, I would gladly throw American Gods in the composter and not give it a second thought. And I really love American Gods.

Except if you know anything about graphic design, that theory not hold up. It easiest thing in world to move her head to right to make room for hair (as cropping out hair changes focal point slightly). Look how much space between her right eye and letters “MI” compared to how much space between left side of head and

YES - continuing the tradition of folk/americana artists speaking truth through music. I’m sure Woody Guthrie would be damn proud!

I’m more surprised he keeps getting hired for things.

For me, it was more a matter of “In other news, water remains wet.”

This is what they are referring to. It used the mirror bowl trick to pretend to be a hologram.

I was super-excited when the corner grocery store got this game. Played two times at 50c a pop, lasted less than a minute on each - probably half a minute if I’m being honest. Never played it again.

Does anyone remember that hologram game from the early 90s? I think the gameplay was pretty similar to Dragon’s Lair. A quick google search tells me it was called Time Traveler. I always saw that one at my local mall arcade but never got to play it since the line was so long.

Disagree. If you feel like exploring then explore. You’ll find no shortage of things to do and moons to acquire. Yes, you’ll need to come back later if you want to complete every challenge. That’s true whether you rush through the game or not. Better for people to just play the game at a pace they enjoy. Rushing to

The phone in the blender is a reference to Sixteen Candles party scene

I loved all nine episodes, but I am sorry... how does someone who listens to The Smiths, The Clash, etc. NOT immediately recognize someone dressed as Siouxsie (of ‘and the Banshees’)?!

As someone old enough to remember being a shithead kid in 1984, a couple of things really stood out to me about this scene.

Episode 7 felt like a bizarre audition piece for an X-men tv show. It ground the season’s slow burn momentum to an utter halt, added little to nothing of note to Eleven’s non-story this season and was utterly pointless as an episode. I mean, sure, 008 will totally be back in season 3 and blah blah mythology blah blah,

Dustin and Steve was the team up I never knew I wanted or needed.

I’m up to episode 7 and I have to comment on the insanely good performances from the kids this season. They were great last season but this is ridiculous, ‘Dustin’ in particular has the comedic chops and sensibility of a man 3 times his age.

This technically wasn’t playing the game wrong, but every time I killed someone in Morrowind, I’d steal their pants. I was kind of hoping that after a while I’d overhear some NPCs talking about a serial killer who steals his victim’s pants.

This seems like a safe space to admit that a full quarter of whatever I’m chopping ends up on the floor, every time. I’ve been cooking at home and professionally for about 15 years. I still throw shit everywhere.
