“It’s a returning… It’s a previously established character from the Arrowverse.”

to be fair, i don’t think cheryl wants to be with Josie as much as she wants to wear her skin. Or maybe “Get Out” her.

“They could be some kind of.... 21.... Jump Street... spy battalion-type dudes!” is a great line reading.

I dunno, I think the contrast between the Captain Americas and Hot Tub Time Machine informs me that Sebastian Stan can, indeed, act.

This review astonishingly neglects the perhaps most significant moment in the Harding story: the time she bought coffee from the coffee stand where I was working in NW Portland in the mid-90s, and after she left I turned to the other people there and said, and I quote, “Hey, I think that was Tonya Harding.”

If you would’ve told me that this bonkers ass show would eventually be the best show in the DCTV universe when it premiered I would’ve laughed you out; and yet here we are. The cold open alone provided me with one of the heartiest laughs that I’ve had all week and pretty much every thing that followed was aces.

Nothing is quite so persuasive as a blanket assertion that the characters are “bland and totally forgettable” without any explication, citation, or comparison. It’s the best possible combination of being lazy while using other people’s insecurities to make a point.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

The therapy group scene really was a perfect way to end the series. The question of what life holds when your one singular focus is gone really is a scary one, and for a traditionally guarded and laconic character like Frank Castle to admit it was pretty powerful.

1) Bernthal may be the best actor alive, but Ben Barnes subtle work was the revelation here. And Moss-Barach’s Micro was impressive too.

The finale only hit it’s stride in that hostage scene, but yeah, that was well worth it. Its miraculous (given the usual way I take the Marvel/Netflix shows) that the last two episodes were the first time that I really felt a drag on length—though it’s disappointing that it was the finale. And with all that time the

Hmm, I kind of hated (watching, it’s a good scene) how Rawlins died and didn’t cheer it on in the slightest. I took my visceral reaction as the show’s “wake up, the Punisher is messed up and never forget it.”

Talking about PTSD... don’t go over to imdb and read the reviews.

I just remembered that Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio has played Marion before...

No Thor: Ragnarok?

Sneaky Immigrant Song intro, Mjolnir shattered, Hulk, Thor’s reaction to Hulk. There has never been a better trailer.

Been Barnes shark eyes were perfect for this role. And he really nailed the American accent.

Welcome to the party, pal!

I’m glad they called an audible and wrote her in. Here’s how I feel: there’s no way to do the Karen Page of the comics in any fashion that isn’t terrible and demoralizing re: an actress and a character we’ve come to care a lot about. Why not just let the comics backstory go entirely in the service of giving a

I love Daredevil, I love Charlie Cox, and I have maintained a lot of sympathy to Netflix-Matt while he has enthusiastically taken a flamethrower to his life, career, and most important relationships.
